FALLING FOR MY RIVAL

Chapter 13:

"Yayy...finally we are here! My rides just wait a few seconds more, before I come for you." I heard Becky shouting out of excitement.

"Okay..now please could you guys hurry up and choose which one to go for?" I impatiently asked.

"Wait...but if we all go together for the same ride then how can we decide the winner" Cher stated out of nowhere making me more annoyed.

"Yes...true then what are the alternatives?" Now Jim adding oil into the fire.

I can't decide whether they are my friends or enemies. I know that they are not aware about all of my phobias cause I never let anyone know about my weaknesses. After everything that happened with my family, my parents and my elder sister Song, I tried very hard to get past of that incident and repressed every emotions I had which were making me vulnerable. My fear of ghosts, of blood, of everything is related to my past and now these rides, it all brings back all of my dreadful memories I had concealed within myself. I just can't reveal my vulnerability and won't let anyone get that close to me to know about my dark past.

"Freen...so are you okay with the plan." Kade jolted me to my senses.

"Yes..what's up? What... it is?" I replied in confusion.

"Oh...so you didn't paid attention all this time." Becky frowned.

"Okay...whatever, now listen carefully this time. As Cher mentioned earlier that we will find difficulty in declaring the winner so we have decided that we will split into groups of pair, one person from each side." She added.

"And how are we going to divide and who will pair with whom ?" I curiously questioned.

"So...here it goes, me and you, Tee and Yuki, and for the last one it will be a group of four with the rest." Becky answered.

"But why four we were having two as a group right..?" I confusedly asked.

"Cause...Cher and Risa are inseparable, and we can't have a group with members from the same team right so this arrangement instead." She answered back.

"What...now special privileges will be given to the Anne Lister of the Thaomas High School, wow..." I mocked.

"Oh...yes, indeed it will be given. Any problem, huh?" Cher stated while coming towards me to attack.

"Yeah...I have a lot with you. Why will you alone get special treatment among others just because you have a lover whom you can't leave her even just for a second cause you fear that she will get lost like a kid." I scoffed.

She was about to come after me when Becky and others stopped her from behind. She then commented back when she realized she can't escape from her friends hold.

"Yes...I can't stay alone without her just for a second, you will also know that when you have one. Oh! sorry my bad, how can loners like you know about this. No one will even fall for this heartless cold creature indeed."

The last sentences of her made my veins pop out of enragement. My fingers curled into a fist and my raised right hand was about to hit Cher when Becky came and hugged me tight stopping my further actions.

Even though Cher and I had known each other through our mutual family and business relations, we never got along. And after her getting admission into Thaomas High School, our mutual hatred just has grown even more than before.

We both were just struggling hard to get past of our friends hold who were blocking our ways, when Becky shouted.

"Enough...both of you. Freen, if Jim and Kade have no issues with this arrangement then why do you mind. And Cher you shouldn't be going this personal, I think you should apologize" Becky instructed Cher making me slightly giggle and tease Cher.

"No...I would never, not to her." Cher yelled.

"Cher...just follow what Becky said. Apologize to Freen...right now." This time her beloved Risa commanded making her defeated.

"Fine...Sorry Freen!" Cher reluctantly apologized in a low tone.

"So...as per our plan we will compete with each other in groups and at the end of the day we will meet again here to declare the winner. Fine" Becky instructed making all of us nod in agreement.

"Okay..now let's split guys..."

She added and pulled my hands to take me towards our first battle.
