When He Saved Me

The whole plane ride I feel completely numb. It feels like I'm in a trance. I have my headphones on and just stare out the window playing the scene with Cade repeatedly in my head.

The flight attendant announces we're landing and like a robot completely unaware of my actions I make sure all my things are together and wait for the okay to get off the plane.

When I get off the plane I grab my checked bag from baggage claim and then scroll through my phone trying to figure out who to call. I go to call Jake but I change my mind I don't want him to see me like this I'm a mess and I can't call the girls or Asher.

I scroll through my phone until I come across Noah's name and I dial.

"Hello." His deep voice comes through the line. "Umm, Noah it's Madison." My voice is already starting to break. "I need help, Noah." the tears break through and I sob into the phone.

"Where are you?" The concern is breaking through his voice and I hate that I'm bothering him but I know he'll be able to handle the situation more reasonably then Jake. "I'm at the airport can you come alone?" "I'll be there in 10 minutes."

"Thank you, Noah."

After we hang up I go to the bathroom to try and pull myself together and then go to wait for him outside.

When he finally pulls up he immediately gets out. "Madison what the fuck happened to you?"

"I'm fine Noah I just want to go home." I pull my bags over to the car and he takes them from me and throws them in the trunk. He opens my door and waits for me to get in.

When I go to get in a sharp pain hits my stomach and I crumble. "Fuck." I moan clutching my stomach my vision going blurry.

Noah catches me and helps me into the car. "Fuck Madison are you okay?"

I nod my head. "I'm fine I'm just a little dizzy." "Madison your bleeding Jesus Christ." I look down to see blood dripping down my pants. "Fuck Noah I'm so sorry I'm gonna mess up your car." I'm sobbing now.

"Mads It's fine don't worry about that right now we're going to a hospital it's gonna be okay."

"Please don't tell Jake." I beg him. "Madison I'm calling Jake he needs to know."

I just nod my head not having the energy to argue with him. My vision starts to go black I hear him talking to Jake on the phone and then complete darkness hits.

--- Jakes Pov ---

I'm sitting at my desk answering emails when I look down and see an incoming call from Noah. I pick up. "Hey man whats up?"

"Jake you need to meet me at the hospital right now. I'm on my way there with Madison." "What the fuck do you mean? Why is she here? She wasn't supposed to get back until late tomorrow." I'm already grabbing my stuff and heading out the door.

"She asked me to pick her up from the airport alone she sounded shaken up on the phone and when I got there she wasn't doing well man. I'm not sure what happened but she had bruises and cuts all over her."

"Okay I'm on my way now." I jump in my car and speed out of the parking lot.

My heart is beating so fast my hands gripping the steering wheel what the fuck happened to her. I'm so pissed off right now but I'm trying to calm myself down. I can't go in there fuming I have to have a level head when I walk in there.

Madison is slipping in and out of consciousness. I'm speeding as fast as I can cars are honking at me but they're not really my concern at the moment.
