- Ashers Pov -

Sweats dripping down my face and I'm taking all my anger out on the punching bag in front of me when I hear my phone ring I look down at my phone and see Jakes calling. He can wait I think to myself and continue punching the fuck out of the punching bag.

After the third time he tries calling me I finally pick up. "Jake what the fuck do you want?" "Geez what crawled up your ass?" "Just tell me what you want." I roll my eyes at him Jake has this extraordinary talent of pushing just the right buttons to piss you off even more when you're already in a bad mood.

"I need you to go pick up Madison she is at Sephora down the road from your gym she had an incident with an uber driver and she's freaked out about it." "What the fuck do you mean by incident what the hell happened?" I am already walking towards the locker room to grab my stuff.

"I'm not sure I didn't want to ask and waste time I need someone over there as soon as possible she was crying and sounded really shaken up about it." "Alright dude don't worry about it I'll take care of it I am grabbing my stuff and leaving right now."

What the hell did Madison get herself into now I think to myself. I am so pissed off she would put herself in this situation and I am pissed that Jake hadn't told her about the Uber drivers here in New York.

All the girls know not to take a fucking Uber to either drive themselves or ask any of us to drive them. The Uber drivers here are sketchy as fuck what was she thinking. I race to my car and speed to Sephora and may or may not have ran a few red lights.

When I pull up in front of Sephora I see Madison sitting on a bench hugging her knees to her chest. I park right in front of the store not giving a shit if someone gets pissed off. I get out and walk over to her.

"Madison come on I'm taking you home." She looks up and tears stain her face my heart breaks seeing her like that. Why the fuck is she affecting me this way its pissing me off. I walk away and open her door and motion for her to get in. She gets in and smiles her thanks at me I just nod my head. I walk around to the other side and take a deep breath before I get in preparing to give her a lecture.

"Madison what the fuck is wrong with you what were you thinking?" She looks at me startled and doesn't say a word so I continue. "What did he do?" She shakes her head and looks down at her lap.

I grasp her chin and force her to look at me and I say more sternly "Madison what did he do? We're not leaving until you tell me what he did and what his name is?" "Why do you care?" She says defiance in her eyes.

"You are Jakes baby sister and he's been like a brother to me thats why now fucking answer the question." A tear drips down her face.

"He reached his hand back and umm." She pauses. "and...?" I ask expectantly. "He put his hand on my ankle and he umm he umm he was..." She pauses again. "This is stupid I am just overreacting I am being stupid it really wasn't that big of a deal." She rambles.

"Finish." I say firmly. "He brushed his hand up and down my leg and touching my thigh and then when I got out he grabbed my hair and sniffed it and then he brushed his hand down my back and squeezed my butt." Her cheeks blush red and she shakes her head out of my hold and looks back down at her lap.

I lean back in my seat and sigh, feeling the anger boiling inside me. I'm going to have to kill this motherfucker. What the hell is wrong with people? "What was his name?" I ask, trying to keep my voice steady.

"Paul," she whispers softly. "Please don't do anything. It really isn't that big of a deal. It was my own fault, really. I mean, my ex warned me not to wear leggings out, that it just meant I was asking for it. I should have known better." She rambles, her voice shaky.

"Stop." I look at her, astonished. This girl just got assaulted by a fucking Uber driver, and she's blaming herself. "This is not your fault. That man should have known to keep his fucking hands to himself, and since he does not, he will have to deal with the consequences. I will call when we get home and get his ass fired. From now on... Madison, look at me." She hesitates but then looks up at me with wide, vulnerable eyes.

"You will not take an Uber again. Ask any one of us, and we will give you a ride. Fuck, there are a million people in that house who could have driven you. There's no reason to get in the car with some rando. That was irresponsible. You need to be more careful. This is not California where you get to go off and do whatever the fuck you want with Daddy's and rich boyfriends' money."

Madison shifts uncomfortably in her seat, her eyes darting around as if searching for an escape. "I'm sorry you had to come get me, but you don't have to act like an ass," she whispers, her voice trembling. "I didn't want to bother anyone."

"That's bullshit because you clearly didn't care about bothering anyone when you told us last minute that you were coming. You don't get to just do whatever you please. Welcome to reality, love."

She flinches at my harsh tone, her shoulders hunching defensively. "You don't fucking know anything about my life," she mumbles, barely audible, "and you don't know me, you dick, so fuck off." Her voice wavers, and she turns away, sniffling. Fuck, now I feel bad.

I turn up the music, trying to drown out the sound of her sniffles, and ignore her for the rest of the ride back to the house. I'm so pissed at her for being so careless with her safety. My hands grip the steering wheel tighter as I try to push down the frustration.

As we pull into the driveway, I can feel the tension between us thickening. I turn off the engine and sit there for a moment, taking a deep breath. "Look," I say finally, my voice softer. "I know you didn't mean for any of this to happen. But you have to understand, you scared the hell out of Jake when you put yourself in danger like that. You're all the family he has left."

Madison doesn't respond right away. She wipes her eyes and looks at me, her expression a mix of anger and something else I can't quite place. Vulnerability, maybe? "I get it, Asher," she says quietly, her voice barely more than a whisper.

"Thanks for the ride," she whispers, opening the door and stepping out of the car.
