Date with the Mafia pt.2

Chaeyoung's POV

Mina wanted to have dinner with me tonight. She sent me a dress and will pick me up at 6 p.m.

As much as I want simple yet meaningful dates with her, I sometimes allow her to take me on a date her way. Which means it's going to be expensive, fancy, and luxurious.

So after I came home from selling my artwork, I washed up and dolled myself. It wasn't usually my kind of thing, but I should also do things in Mina's way, just like she always goes on a date with me, my way.

She has good taste, she wants the best-looking one while making sure I'm comfortable wearing it.

My phone rang and as expected it was her, "Hi! You're here?"

"Hi, beautiful. Yeah, take your time if you're still not ready." she said by phone.

"No, I'm done, I'll go down now." I told her.

"Alright, love you."

"Love you too." I said shyly before ending the call. She never fails to make me a blushing mess every time.

When I got down she was waiting for her new Lamborgini car, she waved so I went to her. She grabbed me by the waist to pull me closer to her and gave me a tender kiss.

We both smile, and she grabs something from behind. It was another bouquet of flowers that she always gave me every time we met and had a date.

"Let's go?" she asks, and I nod. She then opened the door for me and closed it before heading to the driver's seat.

We arrived at a famous high-class Chinese restaurant. We got out of the car, and she gave her car keys to the valet.

They led us to a private room and later on Mina confirmed the menu with them, I told her it was up to her to order everything because I trust her taste in this expensive food I never tried.

Shortly, the food was served, and it was sort of a lot. I thanked her for the food, and she offered to feed me on the first bite. Her smile got bright when I accepted.

"Is it good?" she asks. I nod while munching away, and she pinches my chicks gently, "You're just as cute as when I first met you." she said and chuckles.

Later on, when we were almost done eating, she called me, "Chaeng?"

"Hm,"

"I took you to dinner today, not just to spend time with you but also to tell you something." She said and not in an excited or happy tone of voice, so I thought it was something serious.

"What is it?"

She sighs, "I told you before, right? Back when you said yes to be my girlfriend. I told you to give me time to tell you everything about myself. We've been dating for almost a year already, and I thought the time was now to tell you everything. You're really special to me, and I know you're the one I can stay by your side with for life. Now I really want to tell you my other work other than being a businesswoman."

"I hope you won't respond to it negatively, but I'd understand if you will."

"Mina, this sounds so serious. Please just tell me.." I told her it's making me start to worry.

"It might be hard to believe, but I'm a mafia boss, Chaeng.. it sounds just like fiction, but it's not. We're real but were not like the other mafias.."

I pulled down my spoon and fork, "Wait...m-mafia's like those criminal ones that kill people?" And I feel like I wanted to get away from her.

"But Chaeyoung, listen carefully..." she asks and holds my hands, making them tremble.
