It was barely a year since Chaeyoung and Mina started dating.

But no one could deny they were the most powerful 'feline couple' in the entire school.

Everyone looks up to them way higher than they ever did and treats the two like their king and queen.

Since that's how the way it is now, everyone expects the couple to set a perfect example for the other students, especially other couples.

A perfect image where they don't fight, argue, or come to misunderstandings.

But there's still a part of them that's human, so of course, they couldn't be always perfect, and it's quite natural that they'd come to a misunderstanding but they just manage to face this problem outside the school where the students would not notice.

Even so, they couldn't last long giving each other a cold tail after a fight, as much as Mina is a prideful lioness she tries to lower her pride as much as Chaeyoung does just to admit their mistakes and say sorry so that they could end up cuddling at the end of the day.

The longest fight they had was for 3 hours only because Chaeyoung pranked Mina with a mouse toy during her sleep by dragging it up and down her back and her face which lions absolutely hate and make them instantly kill the tiny rodent.

It was like Chaeyoung almost couldn't breathe. He bought Mina a lion plushie and brought her to her favorite steakhouse restaurant, and ordered her the best rare steak. There, he gave her his sad round eyes, Mina giggled, and she forgave him.

Next month will already be Mina and Chaeyoung's first anniversary.

At this point, he's already planning plenty of things on what to prepare and do with her when the day comes. Of course, with the help of his good friends.

To his surprise, Mina's big brother helped as well. Knowing so much about Mina it helped a lot in his plan yet Chaeyoung is still quite scared of her brother, but they developed a bond, Chaeyoung just had to be careful of what he says and do every time he's around him.

He really hopes it would be a success. He has never done such a thing before. Jeongyeon, his best friend, is telling him as a guy not new to relationships that what he's doing so far is pretty remarkable already for his first time dating.

The day of their anniversary

Mina's POV

Today's a special day since it's Chaeyoung, and I will be celebrating our first anniversary!

But it seems like he doesn't remember, I tried to give him clues the whole day, but he's just been on his phone and avoids me as much as possible.

What's wrong with him? There's something suspicious.

It was almost sundown, and he looked even more suspicious. He was talking to someone on the phone, and I heard he's going to a fancy restaurant.

I quickly went up to my room as if I heard nothing, that's was probably why his suspicious starting today, how sweet of him that's what it was all about?

I was just scrolling on my phone, and I smiled when I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I said cheerfully, and as he entered, my jaw almost dropped seeing him drop-dead handome on that blue rolled up sleeve polo shirt and black trousers.

His hair was slicked back, and I loved the smell of the mild scented men perfume I got for him during Christmas.

He kissed my cheek, "I'll be out babe, see you later! Do you want anything?"

WHAT THE FU-???

My eyes widen, but I make sure he doesn't notice it, "O-oh o-ok see you." I couldn't reply properly.
