Alex, got a business deal in Canada, so he got ready for it, and he also want to take a break from his sad life.

As Alex settled into his seat on the long-haul flight to Canada, he felt a mix of excitement and nerves about the business deal that awaited him.

The cabin lights dimmed, and the aircraft hummed with the anticipation of takeoff. Eager to make the most of his time during the flight, Alex pulled out his laptop to work on some last-minute preparations for the crucial meeting.

Eager and excited, he arrived at the conference room, ready to dive into the meeting that would propel his company to new heights.

As the meeting commenced, Alex was immersed in the discussions and presentations, but suddenly, his attention was captivated by an unexpected entrance.

In walked Kate, looking effortlessly elegant and composed. Alex couldn't help but be awestruck by her beauty, and his heart skipped a beat at the sight of her.

However, to his dismay, Kate seemed completely unfazed by his presence. She carried herself with a professional demeanor, not sparing him a second glance.

The contrast between his infatuation and her indifference left him utterly shattered.

Once the meeting concluded, Alex found himself unable to ignore his feelings any longer.

He mustered up the courage to confront Kate, blocking her path as she tried to leave the conference room. His voice was filled with vulnerability as he pleaded with her to talk.

"Please, love, can we talk?" he implored, hoping to mend whatever divide had formed between them.

Kate, maintaining her professionalism, didn't entertain his advances. "Let me go, Mr. Anderson," she responded firmly, attempting to wiggle out of his grasp.

Desperation clung to his words as he continued, "Please, sweetheart, I beg you, just give me five minutes."

Her expression remained stonic as she looked away, not giving in to his emotional plea. "Look, Mr. Anderson, I don't know what games you're playing, but if you don't let go this instant, I'm going to call security," Kate warned, her resolve unwavering.

Left with no other choice, Alex released his grip, watching her walk away with a heavy heart. However, the encounter only fueled his determination to win her back, to understand what had caused this rift between them.

.................

After Alex returned home, he was so sad and heartbroken. Kate was not that bubbly and sweet girl anymore.

In the past, Kate was known for her infectious laughter and her ability to find joy in even the smallest of things. She had a bright and positive outlook on life, and her innocent demeanor was a source of comfort and delight to those around her.

Her genuine kindness and compassion were evident in her interactions with others, making her a beloved member of her social circle.

"And the reason for that change is me",Alex thought guiltily. Only if he could find a chance to explain her everything.
.............

Kate's heart pounded with mixed emotions as she met Alex in the conference room.

It had been two long years since she had seen him, and the memories of their past relationship flooded her mind, bringing with them a wave of pain and anger. She couldn't help but think, "I hate my life, a boy who destroyed my life two years ago is back, a boy who destroyed my innocence and took advantage of it."

In the past, Kate had been a sweet, caring, and trusting girl. She had fallen for Alex's charm and believed in the love they shared.

But that love had turned into a nightmare when she discovered his true intentions. Alex's focus had shifted solely to his ambition and success, and in the process, he had neglected and hurt her, leaving her heartbroken and shattered.

The wounds from their past were still fresh, and Kate couldn't think of the idea of forgiving him, let alone falling in love again.

She was determined to protect herself from the pain he had caused, vowing to keep her heart guarded and resist any attempts he might make to rekindle their relationship.

"I hate him so much," Kate whispered under her breath, her voice filled with bitterness. She had spent the past two years rebuilding her life, learning to trust again, and finding strength in her independence.

The last thing she wanted was to let Alex back into her life and risk being hurt all over again.

She couldn't understand how Alex could expect her to forgive him so easily, after the pain he had caused her. He had taken advantage of her trust and innocence, leaving scars that ran deep.

Kate had worked tirelessly to rebuild her self-esteem and sense of worth, and she was not willing to let him shatter her newfound strength.

The internal battle within Kate was fierce. Part of her wanted to confront Alex, to unleash the anger and hurt that had been brewing inside her for so long.

But another part of her feared that engaging with him would only reopen old wounds, making it harder for her to move forward.

If he thinks I'm gonna forgive him and fall in love again, he is very wrong. I hate him so much, and I'm trying my best to ignore him."

The wounds of their past relationship were still fresh, and the memories haunted her every step.

Alex's betrayal had shattered her trust, leaving behind scars that ran deep. It was a pain she couldn't simply brush aside or forget, no matter how much time had passed.

As much as she wanted to move on, the anger and hurt within her were overwhelming.

She had tried to rebuild her life and find happiness again, but the thought of forgiving Alex seemed like an impossible feat. The idea of opening her heart to him once more filled her with dread and fear of being hurt again.

She had spent countless sleepless nights analyzing their past, trying to make sense of his actions.

It was an emotional rollercoaster, oscillating between memories of the good times they shared and the crushing realization of his betrayal.

Kate knew she deserved better, and she was determined not to let him back into her life.

Ignoring him was her way of protecting herself, of preserving the progress she had made in rebuilding her life. She refused to allow him to have any power over her emotions again.
