As I nestled into his embrace, I could feel his steady heartbeat against my cheek, a rhythmic reminder of his presence. Since I got the nightmare, he has been taking care of me non stop, as if I was his baby.

His touch was gentle yet firm, providing a reassuring anchor to the turbulent emotions that had plagued me in my sleep. I melted into his warmth grateful for the comfort he offered.

He continued to Stoke my hair, his fingers moving in soothing circles against my scalp. He whispered sweet nothings in my ear, his words a tender melody that gently washed away the remnants of my nightmare. Each word was carefully chosen, a balm for my soul, reminding me that I was loved and Cherished.

You are so brave Kate, he mummerd, his voice filled with admiration." I'm here to protect you, always".

His words wrapped around me like a cocoon, shielding me from the lingering fear. I felt a profound sense of gratitude  for Alex's presence in my life. In his arms, I found solace and strength.

They remained entwined in each other's embrace, the weight of the nightmare dissipation with each passing moment. Alex's protective warmth enveloped her, creating a safe heaven where the darkness of the night  could not penetrate. It was a santuary build on love and trust, a place where she could find respite from the shadows  that haunted my dreams.

As the night wore on, Alex's kisses became a soft symphony of affection. Each brush of his lips against her skin sent waves of comfort rippling through her, erasing the last traces of fear. Kate felt a renewed sense of secret, knowing  that she was not alone in her battles.

Alex carefully tucked Kate into bed, making sure the blankets were snugly wrapped around her. He gently adjusted the pillows behind her back , ensuring her comfort for the night. Kate, feeling tired after a long day , welcomed the warm embrace of the soft bedding.

As Alex stood by her side , he gazed at Kate with a tender smile . He softly whispered, " don't worry , Kate. I'll be right here with you all night . You won't have to face any nightmares alone." His words filled her heart with a sense of security and reassurance,  knowing that he would be there to chase away any fears that might arise.

Kate , her eyes heavy with drowsiness,  looked up at Alex and felt a wave of gratitude wash over her.  She was amazed at how deeply he cared for her , his mere presence offering solace and protection.  With a soft sigh , she whispered , "thank you , Alex . Knowing you're here makes all the difference. "

Moved by her words , Alex leaned in and gently gently kissed kate's forehead,  his lips lingering there for a moment. The tender gesture expressed his love and affection,  leaving a gentle warmth behind . Kate closed her eyes , savoring the soft touch and feeling an overwhelming sense of comfort and contentment.

In that fleeting moment,  all of kate's worries and anxieties faded away . She felt a deep connection with Alex , a connection that made her heart flutter and her worries melt into oblivion. His presence was balm to her soul , providing the strength and security she needed to face the challenges of the night.

As Alex continued to stand by her side , his unwavering support and love encircling her , Kate drifted off into a peaceful slumber . With every breath , she felt the gentle rhythm of his presence,  calming her mind and soothing her spirit .

In the embrace of sleep , Kate held on to the knowledge that Alex would be there , watching over her , keeping the nightmares at bay . The memory of his tender kiss on her forehead lingered in her dreams , an enduring symbol of their love and the unwavering bond they shared .

Together, they would face the night , their hearts entwined,  knowing that with Alex by her side , Kate would always find comfort and solace, even in the darkest of nights .

When Kate shared me her past, I felt my heart broke into pieces. She has gone through so much. She lost her father when she was six, she got bullied by some mean girls, and that's not it, she was beaten until her ribs were broken.

I can't believe this, she is such an innocent girl, and I feel like an asshole for bulling her that day. I punched the wall harder until I bled, I couldn't endure that my girl has gone through so much and I could do anything to save her.

Yesterday, she was screaming during she had the nightmare, she was panting  for breath, like she was struggling to go way from her problems.

So I went near and whispered sweet nothings in her ear. I kept caressing her hair until she was okay. I hugged her tightly, closer to my heart until I felt she was breathing normally.

I felt so hurt that my friends and I planned to harm her. My mom never taught me to be like that, so when she got up I asked her forgiveness.

From now onwards nobody can hurt her. She is my girl and I will take care of her, I will heal her broken heart, I will make her smile again, I will erase those painful memories from her hurt, I will try my best to make her happy. Going forward ,she is my responsibility.
