Chibbs got off the bike before him and I gave him a look. "Aye I know, but Gem really wanted you there," he said as he carefully unhooked the helmet from my head. "Tha fios agad nach urrainn dhut stad a chuir orm bho bhith a' falbh ma tha mi ag iarraidh ceart (You know you can't stop me from leaving if I want right)?" I asked speaking in Gaelic to him. I saw his eyes darken slightly when he heard me use his mother tongue and he had to take a second before responding. "Aye but be a good lass and come in with me," he responded in English and I felt my cheeks redden slightly. He watched me intently as I got off the bike and moved ahead of him, letting him follow me into the house. Once inside my Ma's house, I started getting a little nervous. Her house was smaller than the clubhouse and with so many people inside I began to feel a little claustrophobic. I had never liked being in large groups in a small space and it was even worse now after everything I had been through. Chibbs noticed a quick change in my body language and moved up next to me, taking my hand in his with a reassuring squeeze. I looked up to him and he gave me a small smile before leading me into the kitchen where just my Ma was. She turned around just in time to catch the whispered exchange between us and the quick peck on the cheek he gave me, making me go red in the face. He smirked as he walked away lost in his thoughts as Ma watched us with a smile. "Hey baby girl," she said snapping me out of the trance I was in as I watched Chibbs walk away. I jumped a little having completely forgot Ma was in the room, making my face go redder as I walked over to her and gave her a hug. "Hey Ma," I said before we pulled apart. I helped her with what she was doing and we made small talk. Chibbs walked back in the house and smiled at how relaxed I was in this moment. I felt eyes on me and when I turned around I saw Chibbs watching me with a smile. I smiled back at him blushing again at the way he was looking at me. Then the thought in the back of my mind popped forward and my smile fell. It was risk me being back home in the first place, but I couldn't risk anyone's safety if it would make them an even bigger target. Fury had warned me about the risk of just coming home, but promised to assist with keeping everyone safe.

Ma gave me a confused look when she saw my face drop, but decided to let it go not wanting to ruin a chance at me staying for family dinner. Once all the food was done and placed we gathered around and I sat next to Jax, surprisingly Chibbs sat on my other side and it took everything in me to hold back what I was feeling. As dinner went on everyone was talking amongst themselves laughing as we ate, Chibbs noticed how I hadn't eaten but just pushed my food around on my plate. Seeing everyone together like this made me realize how much I had missed because of what had happened. I quietly excused myself before heading out the front door into the crisp, cool air. It made my heart hurt to think about how much I had missed and all the things I lost out on because of what I chose to do. Feeling the panic rising in my chest I started walking off in the direction of the club house, not thinking about the fact that no one would know I left. My chest felt heavy as I walked on to the lot of the club house, not really sure what I was doing. My thoughts swirled around in my head as I kept thinking about how I was an idiot to let myself get too close too anyone. All I kept thinking was if I got too close and anyone remaining from Hydra found out, I knew they would use the ones I loved to get to me. They would know I wouldn't let anyone go down because of me and it would be easy to sway me to come with them if they used someone I loved. I made my way to my dorm room, closing and locking my door just in time for the ache to set in as my mind went back to the kiss with Chibbs we shared on the beach. My tears began to fall as I crawled into the blankets I had laying on the floor and buried my head into my pillow as I screamed in anger. Hydra had taken so much from me and now even when they were supposed to be gone they continued to take from me. After a couple hours of crying was when I heard the jingle of my door knob when someone tried to open it. It stopped as whoever it was realized it was locked. Quick, hard knocks sounded on the door and I heard a voice say something but in my hazy state I couldn't make out what they said. "Go away!" I yelled and whoever was on the other side of the door would be able to tell I had been crying by the sound of my voice, which I cursed myself for. I covered my ears as I heard more calls and banging on the door and just kept telling them to go away, praying they would just listen for once. Finally whoever was out there walked away, finally giving up on getting me to open the door. No one came back to try again and eventually I fell asleep tears still falling.
