Once we had gotten back to Charming I went back to not talking and working constantly. The only change in routine that anyone noticed was now I had a living shadow. If you ever needed to find Chibbs all you had to do was look for me and vice versa. Everyone noticed how Chibbs would stop me from working and make me get something to eat, but I always went right back to my computers and silently worked reading over the scans I was receiving by the hour. Just like today, much to everyone's dismay. Everyone was sitting in the clubhouse when the door suddenly opened and a tall man in a leather jacket walked in. Chibbs had just gone to get me when we walked in from the garage and I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw him. Chibbs noticed him and stopped too and when Clay saw our faces he put his boss man mask on and walked up to Steve. "Can I help you son?" Clay asked stoically. Steve's eyes finally landed on me, but when he went to take a step towards me not only did Clay hold out his arm to stop him, Chibbs moved me behind him protectively. He just wasn't sure yet whose safety he had really done it for. "Y/N can we talk...in private?" he asked and you could hear the way it was more a command than a question. I scoffed and pushed past Chibbs going straight to the bar, not saying a word to him. Steve sighed in frustration when he tried to move towards me again and this time Jax stood in front of him. "Look I don't have time for games Y/N," he said as I continued to ignore him as I sat down at the bar. He huffed when I didn't respond and Clay took a step closer to him. "I think its time you saw yourself out," he said coldly and in his tone you could tell there was no room for discussion on the matter. Steve sighed and moved to head out the door, not willing to fight through anyone to get to me at this point. "You know at one point we were a team, "he said with a condescending tone. The glass I had in my flesh hand shattered and I ignored the pain from the glass cutting me. Everyone tensed as I spun around filled with rage and tears threatening to fall. "Oh yeah that's right Captain we are a team," I said in a venomous voice, "We're a team right, we win together, we lose together." Steve turned around to face me, but couldn't lift his head. I got closer but Clay, Chibbs, and Jax stood between me and him still blocking us from getting too close to each other. "Well where the fuck were you when we were getting our asses handed to us, what about sticking to the plan," I said a single tear escaping from my eye. "And what about after the fighting, what about the next day, where were you then?" I asked rhetorically as he and I both knew exactly where he was the morning before he went back to return the stones in their own timelines. Steve huffed and turned to leave but before he went out the door I heard him mumbled the worst possible thing he could have said to me. "At least she can actually give me what I want."

Something snapped inside of me and any care about the consequences went out the window faster than the speed of light. I lunged past everyone, too fast for them to grab me. Steve spun around and moved at the last second, dodging the swing I took at him. Everyone backed up knowing there was no way they could stop this. Chibbs quickly got on the phone to Jamie who he hoped would be close. I got into a fighting stance as I shot daggers at Steve with my eyes. "You don't want to do this Y/N," he said with a cocky smile on his face. "You know Steve I don't know which is more pathetic, the fact that I would let you win when we sparred or the fact that you really think you're better than me," I said my face now showing the focus I was gaining. I knew this would be a challenge of a fight and I would need all my focus to take him down. He lunged at me causing everyone to back up more and I easily dodged him throwing a hit as hard as I could into his ribs. He stumbled back and had to take a second to regain his balance from the force of my hit. I knew I minimally bruised some ribs with that one. I was easily dodging his hits, until the sound of my mom walking in and gasping at the sight of what was happening distracted me long enough for him to actually connect his fist with my face. This time I felt the crack in my cheek bone, but also his knuckles. I laughed as I spit out some blood from my mouth and the final piece that was holding me together snapped. I lunged at him and tackled him to the ground and began wailing on him with my vibranium fist completely ok with going to the Raft for this. Suddenly arms wrapped around me and pulled me off of Steve and I was yelling and sobbing by this point. Jamie had managed to get there before I could cross the line Fury wouldn't be able to help me with and he pulled me back as far as he could before we fell to the ground from how much I was fighting him. He held me tightly while shooting a glare at Steve as Chibbs had told him what was said. As he worked to comfort me no one else moved a muscle, most terrified they would make it worse and the rest unsure of what was going on. Once I was calm Jamie motioned to Chibbs, who walked over and picked me up carrying me back to the dorms. Jamie turned to Steve who was just starting to get up and groaned a little as he got to his feet. Fury walked in making everyone look at him confused. "Who tha fuck are you?" Clay asked, but Fury simply nodded to Jamie. Steve looked between the two as Jamie got closer and reached for something in his back pocket. Jamie forced Steve to turn around and he quickly cuffed him with the cuffs Shuri had designed for him and Y/N. Steve looked shocked and chuckled a little as he tried to turn and look at them. "Come on guys seriously...." he started but Fury was quick to cut him off. "Captain Rogers, you are relieved of your command and are under arrest for assault," Fury stated with an icy voice. Jamie gave a look to Ma and forced Steve outside as he and Fury went to leave with him.

They could hear Steve's protest and some of the things he was saying about Y/N, but they silently watched as Jamie took Steve out in handcuffs. While all this was happening Chibbs had taken me back to my dorm room and had laid down holding me, not wanting to leave me alone. "Lass what did he mean by that?" he asked wanting to understand the reason behind me snapping like I did. "Hydra decided to copy something from another organization like them," I said having a hard time with what was to be said next. Chibbs waited patiently for me to answer knowing that pushing me would only make me shut down. "Bottom line, I can't have kids," was all I could manage to get out, but it was the first time I had ever really verbalized it. I started crying again and then I had this fear that some how Chibbs wouldn't want to be around me anymore and in the rational part of my brain I knew it wasn't the case. It was the destructive side though that won out in my internal battle, that is until I felt Chibbs pull me closer to him and held me tightly as I began to cry harder. Neither of us noticed my mom standing in the doorway silently watching us. She heard though and she backed up slowly and quietly shutting the door before we did notice her. She made her way as quickly as she could as far as she could before she let go. Everyone watched her as she made her way outside and followed worried about the Queen of SAMCRO. Clay barely made it to her before she collapsed to the ground and did everything she could to hold it together, knowing I would be able to hear her even at this distance. When she looked up and saw Steve she saw red and got up tearing herself from Clay's arms. She pieced together a general picture of what had occurred between Steve and I pretty quickly after what she heard. "WAIT!" she yelled as Clay tried to stop her from getting to close to him. She managed to get to Steve though and before anyone could stop her she slapped the super soldier as hard as she could. "If you ever come near my daughter or anyone she calls family again, its not the boys you're going to have to worry about," she said as she yanked his face back to look her in the eye.

Clay pulled her back as Jamie put Steve into the car, smirking that a normal person had managed to pull off humiliating Steve almost on the same level as he had humiliated Y/N. Everyone watched as Jamie and Fury now got in the car and drove off, ignoring Steve's pleas to be heard and released. As everyone made their way back inside, Clay insisted on taking his old lady to find out what had happened to make her act the way she did. It wasn't often she threatened someone in the manner and he knew she would follow through if he went against what she said. Jax, Tig, Opie, and Happy all made their way back towards the dorms and to my door. Jax stopped the others from going in at first as he carefully opened my door and peaked in. Quickly he shut it not wanting to intrude as he caught a glimpse of me in Chibbs' arms and still crying a bit. He didn't want to upset me further by intruding on them so he motioned for the others to follow him back out. Chibbs continued holding me as I cried reliving the pain I had felt when I finally regained my memory of what had happened to me. Chibbs felt like his heart was breaking, like he could feel the pain I was in and all he wanted was to be able to take my pain away from me. Eventually I fell asleep and Chibbs fell asleep with me. Someone would periodically check in and when Ma came to check on me she gave a sad smile at us, grateful that I had someone here for me even if I didn't realize it. Some time in the night I woke up still in Chibbs' arms. I had turned over and was now facing  his chest and he had his arms wrapped around me still and now had a leg thrown over mine. I couldn't believe he had stuck around and was grateful for how he had always seemed to be there for me since I came home. I looked up at his face and had to fight the urge to caress his cheek. "Go back to sleep Lass, you need the rest," he practically whispered while he kept his eyes closed. I wanted to talk more, but he was right. I snuggled back into his chest and closed my eyes falling back asleep pretty quickly.
