3 days had passed as we had settled into a new routine. I was currently in the lab working on something with Shuri to help my brother's son, Abel, who had just been born too early when his birth mother Wendy od'd. He was born with the family flaw as we called it and had a hole in his heart and also his stomach. Chibbs watched me work and finally Shuri and I had come up with a solution. Ramonda came in as we started cheering and smiled seeing me so different compared to when I had arrived. She always said that even though I had never been born or raised in Wakanda, something in me was Wakandan. Whenever I was here I always felt the most at peace and I couldn't explain it, but Wakanda always felt like home. I looked up and saw Ramonda and smiled as she walked closer to us. "We did it," I said running over and hugging her. She squeezed me and pulled me back giving me a proud look. "Then send for your family, Shuri will contact the hospital to arrange for transport," she said and I took off followed by a chuckling Chibbs as Ramonda watched us  go fondly. She moved over to Shuri as she finished delegating tasks to prepare for the Teller baby to come. Shuri turned and began cleaning up what they had done and going over everything in her head. "How is she?" Ramonda asked her making Shuri stop and contemplate her answer. "She is hurting," Shuri stated plainly as she looked up at her mother, just as T'Challa walked in. His smile dropped when he heard Shuri's words. "She does what she always does and buries herself in work, but you can see it in her eyes," Shuri stated and was startled when she saw T'Challa knowing I wouldn't want him to know about it. After what happened with his father and me helping Jamie, I had never wanted to let him down again despite it all working out in the end. So any time anything was going on, I would bury down the hurt of it and put on a brave face for him, not wanting him to see me weak and have to risk seeing the face I saw the day at the airport. They all stayed silent before deciding that once my family was here they would take us out into the city, knowing how much I loved being around the people.

All the arrangements were made and within the day everyone except Clay, Tigg, and Happy along with prospects were left in Charming to keep things under control. Another charter agreed to send some people just help them out so the family could all be there for Jax and Abel. Once there I left my family there and took Abel with Shuri to perform the procedure that would save his life. Tara insisted on being here as she was supposedly the doctor that performed the initial surgery when he was born. Not long in though Shuri and I picked up pretty quick that, that was a lie. Once finished and we had Abel in a recovery room we made our way out. As we walked up to my family with Tara at Jax's side I nodded to Shuri and she continued on giving the family a smile. Jax walked up to me and you could see the anxiety all over him. "He's fine, everything went perfectly and we were able to repair everything," I said and Jax threw his arms around me and  I could feel him sobbing as he buried his face in my neck. Ma came over and hugged us both unable to stop smiling from how happy she was. I could see Tara over their shoulders and I gave her a stone look that told her I knew she was up to something and I would find out what. They pulled back and the rest of the club gave their congrats, but Chibbs noticed how I watched Tara who remained silent through all of this. Shuri came running up to me and whispered something to me as she handed me a file folder. Jax looked to us worried it had something to do with Abel, but stayed quiet. I handed the folder back to Shuri and stared hard at Tara. "You have one chance to come clean and you better do it, if not you will immediately be escorted from Wakanda and returned to Charming, where you will pack up everything you have and go back to Chicago to clean up your own mess," I said staring blankly not giving anything away. Everyone looked to Tara questioningly knowing I wouldn't treat anyone like this without reason. T'Challa came in and stood just behind me crossing his arms giving the same hard look I was as he stared at Tara. "Were you the doctor assigned to Abel's case and the one to perform his initial surgery?" I asked and Jax's head spun to me with a confused look on his face. Tara remained silent looking afraid around at everyone. "She asked you a question," T'Challa stated as he now stepped just ahead of me with a stern tone. "No," she finally said looking down at the ground, knowing she was busted. Jax looked confused between us, not understanding why she would lie about such a thing. I ignored her pleas of excuses for her actions, but she didn't realize I knew the truth of her problems. She wanted to use my brother, make him do what she couldn't and then try to weasel her way into the family for protection. She didn't do any of this with any other thought than of herself. My hands clenched into a fist and Chibbs saw T'Challa gently take one and lean in to whisper something in my ear. Chibbs face changed to one of jealousy for just a second longer as he watched T'Challa motion to his guards who immediately escorted Tara out and he placed his hand on the small of my back, walking me back towards the labs.
