The moment we pulled into the lot of the clubhouse though, my hopes were destroyed. I saw the guys holding someone on the ground and while, Chibbs wouldn't have been able to see it, I could clearly see the sleeve of the man's coat. On it was the red and black symbol of the people I had feared would find me. Hydra. We parked and Jamie and I were instantly out of the car. Clay walked up to us with something in his hands. "Found him poking around, wouldn't have thought much until we searched his bag, found these," Clay said handing what I could now tell was pictures to Jamie. I looked over his shoulder at them and had to take a step back once I saw they were pictures of me. There were a couple of Chibbs and I that made my gut wrench. The man on the ground started laughing as he spotted me and shouting something in german. I looked between the man and then Chibbs before my anger took over. Jamie tried to grab me as I lunged at the guy but wasn't fast enough. I easily snatched him up by his throat with my metal hand and lifted him in the air from under Jax's boot. "I want the truth, have you reported any of this?" I asked and I could see the man's eyes now filled with fear as I tightened my grip just a tad. He shook his head rapidly and I dropped him to the ground as he coughed trying to regain his breath. Jamie inched toward me not wanting to startle me, but froze when he saw me pull my gun out from hiding and clicked the safety off. Happy was the one who got to me though, knowing in his gut that I wouldn't be able to handle it if I took this man's life. "Put it down little girl," he said as he put a hand on the gun. He moved closer and whispered something to me, which made me lower my gun. He pulled back and we shared a look before he nodded. I turned away and grabbed the pictures off the ground that Jamie had dropped. As I started to walk into the club house I stopped, turning my head in the direction of Happy. "Asegúrate de que sufre (Make sure he suffers)," I said in a cold voice that chilled everyone including the Tacoma Killer to the bone. Happy nodded before turning to the man and yanking him up, moving him towards the van. I went inside and straight to the kitchen, grabbing a metal mixing bowl from a shelf. Everyone walked in as I tore the pictures up and tossing them into the bowel. I poured whiskey into it before taking a big swig of the whiskey myself. Jamie knew by looking at me, this had set me right back to where I was. I lit the pictures on fire and watched them burning as Jamie walked up next to me. "Don't," I simply stated before turning and pushing past everyone to go to my dorm.

Jamie watched the pictures burn, knowing better than to go after me. No one noticed Chibbs quietly sneak out of the room to go to mine. He lightly knocked on the door but when he received no answer he walked carefully into my room and found me packing a bag. He shut the door roughly and I refused to look up. "Where do ya think you're going Lass?" He asked uneasy about what I was thinking. I sighed not trusting my voice to not betray me and continued packing things into my bag. He moved slowly towards me, placing his hand on mine to make me stop what I was doing. I lowered my head and closed my eyes, trying to hold back the tears that wanted to fall. One slipped through and Chibbs placed a hand on my cheek, making me lean in to it for the comfort. "I have to go, I can't stay and risk all of you," I said meekly and my heart started to ache when he removed his hand from my cheek. He turned me around and sat me down on the bed before kneeling down in between my legs. His used his fingers to gently lift my chin to make me look at him. "I hate to tell ya Lass, but ain't a one of us that are gonna let you walk out on this one," he said and I gave him a confused look. "You don't understand, these aren't just some assholes in an MC, ok the things they do make Happy look like a friggin teddy bear and I won't let them get near my family, I won't let them near you," I said no longer able to control the flow of my tears or hide the fear in my voice. He quickly wrapped me in his arms, holding me tightly as I sobbed. Jamie had almost walked in when he heard us talking but quietly slipped back out allowing and trusting Chibbs to take care of me. He pulled his phone out as he made his way out to where the others were. His phone rang and he patiently waited for the person to answer. "Hey I need a favor," he said walking back to the kitchen to get some privacy. Eventually Chibbs whispering to me and the soothing feeling of him stroking my back caused me to calm down and start to think rationally. I knew I couldn't stay here, but I had truly hoped I could. It was too much of a risk now, no matter what Happy would do to make sure that man had disappeared off the face of the Earth. We eventually made our way back out too and I could hear Jamie talking on the phone as he started to come out of the kitchen. "Thank you, I'll talk to you soon," he said before hanging up and looking up to see me. I gave him a look as if asking what he did and he returned it with a guilty look and turning red. "Uh, hey Gemma can I borrow ya a sec," he said but I held up my hand to stop her, knowing exactly what he was doing. "Oh no ya don't, who did you call?" I asked giving him a stern look. He stuttered a little and knew exactly who he had called. "Are you kidding James, I'm surprised my kimoyo beads haven't gone off yet," I said clearly irritated by the thought of you he had called. He held up his finger as if saying hold on a minute and then a second later my beads started going off. I looked down at my wrist and saw who it was and gave him an angry look. "Oh you are so dead," I said realizing now who had actually called. "Hey Ramonda, I've missed you, how are you?" I spilled out sweetly with an innocent smile on my face. "Don't you try to play innocent with me young lady," she said sternly and my smile dropped as I shot a glare over at a chuckling Jamie. "Kidnapped, attacked, and not even a simple text to let us know you were ok, " Ramonda continued as she scolded me like I was one of her children. I heard my mom whisper how she liked Queen Mother Ramonda.

"I have already discussed this with Sargent Barnes and you will be coming to Wakanda for a visit," she started, I went to protest, but she cut me off continuing, "As I know you have reconnected with your family, for their peace of mind I will allow them to send some one with you and that way we can make sure your family there is checked in with and kept up to date on how you are doing, seeing as you have lacked in that area yourself." I looked  down guilty and in defeat, knowing she was right. Through the video feed she gave me a saddened look, "I will see you soon child, and we will talk once you arrive," she said making me look up to see only love in her eyes. I nodded and we ended the communication without another word and I turned to Jamie. "That was low," I said before walking away from him in anger. I hated when he used the women I looked to as mother figures in my life to get me to do something. He sighed and discussed with everyone what the plan was. They were going to make a big show of me leaving Charming that way we could draw attention off of the area. Jamie was going to stay with the help of Sam and Yelena to keep the club safe just in case they came here anyway. It was decided Chibbs would go with me as he was the one I felt the safest with other than Jax, but they knew I would want him to stay here with Ma. Once Chibbs and I were ready there was already a Wakandan convoy here to escort us to Wakanda. I instantly recognized Okoye and ran up to give her a hug. She instantly hugged me back as she had begun to look at me as a sister in my time in Wakanda. I said my good byes and we could see the press arriving, quickly snapping pictures as I climbed in a car with Chibbs. Okoye got in the passenger seat and another woman got in the driver before we began to head off to the rendezvous point where we would board a jet that would take us close to Wakanda. It was during the flight when Okoye noticed how Chibbs interacted with me and saw how he pulled me to rest my head on him so I could sleep during the flight. Once I was sound asleep, Okoye moved over to a seat in front of us and watched Chibbs inquisitively before seeming to decide something on her own. Chibbs tried to ignore the stare from her, feeling uneasy under her gaze and startled slightly when she finally spoke to him. "You will not hurt her, I promise if you do it will not be the family in Charming you will have to worry about," she said making him meet her eyes. He nodded at her and with that she moved back with the other guards who had come with her to collect me.

Once we landed, I was gently woken by Chibbs shaking my shoulder. "We're here Lass," he said, gently pushing the hair back from my face. I nodded and we stood up with the others getting off the jet and making our way to the transport that would take us in to Wakanda. I sighed in content and smiled as I watched the scenery fly by. I had missed Wakanda and despite the reasoning it felt good to be back. Chibbs watched me and saw me relaxed for the first time since the beach. After a little bit we pulled up to the platform where I could see Ramonda and Shuri waiting for us, making my smile grow a little bit bigger. We exited the transport and I went straight to them with Chibbs cautiously walking behind, not wanting to be intrusive. Once I greeted Shuri, I turned to Ramonda and gave a small bow before she motioned to me with open arms. She hugged me tight and for a moment I had to fight back the tears that threatened to spill. I introduced Chibbs to them and we made our way to the house I had hear on the outskirts of the village, but still within the borders. Eventually they left us to settle telling us tomorrow we would meet and catch up. Chibbs took our bags in and when he came back out he saw me standing at the lake's edge. He stayed back not wanting to intrude on my moment and simply enjoyed seeing me so comfortable and at peace. He hadn't seen me like this, not even at his hideaway and he didn't want to disturb it. I watched as the sun set wondering what my life would have been like if I had just stayed in Charming all those years ago, feeling slightly guilty that I wished sometimes I could go back and change that choice. In a way I was ok with where I ended up. Not being given much of a choice on coming here reminded of the family I had created while I was away. I basked in the glow of the sunset over the lake, just soaking the feeling in of being back in Wakanda, never once noticing how Chibbs watched over me from the doorway of the hut.
