The day that I've been dreading has come, my wedding day. Usually one would be happy for their wedding day, but this is different, I'm forced into a marriage I never wanted and cannot back out or do anything to prevent it from happening.
Alicent and the rest of the ladies (aka maids) have been rushing about all morning fixing things in the garden, where my wedding will be held, Viserys thought it would be a wonderful idea.
But all I've been doing is sitting patiently in my chambers talking with Snowflake, but it's been maybe two hours and finally some of the maids have come and drawn me up a warm bath with lavender scented oils.
I slowly step into the water but it doesn't burn much. I lay back and close my eyes thinking of what could've been, my handmaiden entered and sets up a stool next to my, then starts washing my hair. As she's rubbing the curls, I start rubbing my skin with the rag and I can already smell my skin being scented with lavender.
When she finishes I step out of the bath and dried my body and hair, she leaves the room but returns a moment after with Alicent and two more maids with her, Alicent to help with my hair and the maids to help me into my dress. But the when I turn and look at Alicent I knew something was wrong.
"Alicent, what's wrong has something happened?" I ask becoming worried "Del, I'm sorry" she says but I can't think of what was wrong until I noticed my dress on my bed. I slowly approach my dress but the closer I get, the more I see how it looks. The dress was cut, massive holes have been cut into my dress.
"Who has done this?" I quickly turn looking at all that was in the room "We don't know Del, we only found it like this" Alicent says but one of the maids spoke up "I know who did it" she says, I move closer to her "Tell me who has done this" I say softly "It was Rhaenyra m'lady, earlier I saw her cut up this dress, I was going to tell you."
How could she, how could Rhaenyra destroy my beautiful wedding dress, I never done anything to deserve this. I am feeling so much emotions; hurt, anger, sadness. I walk to my mirror and sit down not saying a word, I look up and see everyone looking at me staying quiet. "How are we going to fix it?" I asked looking at Alicent "I cannot attend my own wedding with my under garments" I say. I notice Alicent has left the room but re-enters holding a box "We don't have to fix it" she said and drops the box onto my bed "Alicent, what's in the box?" I asked standing up walking up next to her.
She opens the box and all my sadness is replaced with hope and happiness. Inside this box is the white dress that I loved from the start

I turn to Alicent and give her the tightest hug I could give her. "How did you get this?" I ask but all she says was "When you're daughter of the hand, things get done" she says with a small smile and I return it with a massive smile.
Everyone gets back to work helping me get ready, the dress first perfectly and my hair is braided into a crown with stray hairs hanging in the front. When I look in the mirror and I couldn't recognize myself, I looked beautiful.
I walk out into the garden. As I walk down the flower-petal-filled pathway, I noticed how marry people there actually were to witness this wedding. My whole family attended, my siblings look more mature now than when I last saw them, including my favorite uncle Vaemond, every Lord that the King knew or who knew the King has attended this wedding, even Rhaenyra was here. I look straight and see Viserys at the end of the pathway with the Septon.
When I reach Viserys I hold onto his and he gives me a small reassuring smile. The Septon begins to speak but I don't hear a single word all I can think about is how my whole like is about to change, how my life is being planned out for me. I finally heard the Septon speak "Let it be known that Viserys Targaryen of house Targaryen and Dealora Velaryon of house Velaryon are one heart, one flesh, one soul. Cursed be he who would tear them asunder."
"In the sight of the Seven, I hereby seal these two souls, binding them as one for eternity" he continues and I start to get very nervous but Viserys holds my hand more tighter.
"Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, Stranger" we say in unison "I am hers and she is mine, from this day until the end of my days" Viserys say looking from the Septon to me "I am his and he is mine, from this day until the end of my days" I say my voice breaking at the end.
"And with this kiss, I pledge my love" he says and slowly moves his head towards mine and presses his lips against mine into a kiss. The kiss is soft and sweet and gentle, he pulls away. He must've known it was my first kiss.
