Driftmark
Aemond and Baela both stood near their grandmother as she sat the Driftwoodthrone, the Maester stood in front of them.
"It's been near six years since I last saw my Lord husband, Maester. I must know...will he live?" Rhaenys asked the Maester, she was worried for her husband and so did her grandchildren.
"He led his sailors into an ambush, the ship made to look as if it were abandoned, in the fighting his neck was slashed by a dagger. He fell overboard into the sea. The wound was servere, much blood was lost, but the greater concern is the fever that followed. The ships maester said, it burns from within"
Rhaenys looked away, she did not want to know further, she did not want her husband to die but for him to return unharmed and by her side.
Aemond and Baela both shared a look of concern and looked towards their grandmother them back at the Maester, "The ravens came in from?" She asked, "Even Port, your grace" the Maester said.
"So they arrive in three days" she stated, Vaemond whom was standing near the Maester, was worried, Corlys was his brother.
"Let all be made ready to receive him, Maester Caven" she said and sent him away. Aemond rubbed his grandmother's shoulder in reassurance.
"The Seasnake is strong" Baela reassured her grandmother,"No doubt. And yet I have seen blood fever overcome men half his age" Vaemond spoke up.
"I will not suffer the talk of crows in my house, Vaemond" Rhaenys stated, she did not wish to quarrel with her good-brother, while her husband is dying.
Although Vaemond continued, "I love my brother, but we must be honest with ourselves. You may greet his ship to find him gone! And who will take the Driftwood throne?"
"Our grandmother seems quite comfortable here" Aemond spoke up,"She presides only in the absence of her husband, upon his death the seat passes.."
"To Lucerys Velaryon, as is my Lord-husbands desire" Rhaenys interrupted him, "And what of your daughter, the Seasnakes own blood, the closes kin he has left"
"My daughter is the queen" Rhaenys reminded him, "And what of her children?" he said pointing to Aemond.
Vaemond did not want the Driftwood throne, Daelora was the Seasnake eldest and only daughter left, she or her children should have an inheritance somewhere.
"Be careful, good-brother, one would take your words as treason" Rhaenys warned him, but Vaemond only stepped closer, "I speak the truth, Rhaenys and you know it"
"The matter has been decided" Rhaenys said as she looked away, "By a man whose ambition has brought us down, calamity after calamity. My brother only cares for the history books, but what of the Velaryon line? Is it to be snuffed out? Supplanted by the pups of house Strong? Driftmark is Aemond's by all rights. And while I should like your support, I do not need it! The winds have shifted, the crown has good reason to take my side"
Aemond? Master of the Tides? He had thought about it and it had brought joy to him, perhaps he should be Master of the Tides and not Lucerys whom does not share the Velaryon blood.
"My cousin, the King, would have your tongue for that" She said smirking, "But it is not a King who sits the iron throne these days, good-sisters, it's a Queen. Your very daughter"
Perhaps Vaemond is right, perhaps Aemond should get Driftmark, Aemond smiled at the thought.
Kingslanding
I sat in Helaena's chambers, Helaena had sired two beautiful children, twin, Jaheara and Jahearys, one with white hair and one with raven black hair, "A raven, your grace" one of the guards said and handed me the raven, I rolled it open,
Mother, Vaemod has been to petition for, I to be Lord of the Tides. Grandmother, Baela and I will fly to Kingslanding in the morrow, I hope all goes well
"You may go" I said and stood up. I never thought this would've ever happened, petition for Driftmark? I am the only child of my father, so surely I have a claim, I sighed as I felt a headache nearing.

I sighed as I heard Tyland speak of more finances, I looked over to Daemon who seemed just as bored. "Everything is in place, all books are correct, the school is doing well, food imports and so on."
"Well, then that is that," Daemon said rubbing his temple, Ser Westerling steps in,we all stay silent.
"Your guests have arrived, your grace" he said, "I hope they were welcomed and be set to their quarters?" Daemon asked, "As you requested, Lord hand"
"It was my understanding that Lord Corlys, wished for his grandson Lucerys to succeed him as Lord of the Tides" the Grand Maester spoke up, "The boy has been raised most of his life away from Driftmark. He can fly a dragon, yes, but can her command a fleet?" Tyland questioned..
"Ability does not alter his claim" Lord Beesbury stated, "And what of my claim, I may be queen, yes, but should my children not have some inheritance?" I asked around, when no one spoke I continued, "My uncle Vaemond, petitions not for himself but for my son, Aemond, whom have been my mother's ward for the past six years"
"Well the Seasnakes never formally named anyone as heir, if it comes to that, the Crown must choose what is best for the realm." one of the lords said, "He is Laenor's son, what grounds could their be..." Lord Beesbury said, "What indeed, Lord Beesbury, what indeed."
Hearing these quarrels made my headache worse, I sighed, "We shall hear Princess Rhaenyra, Vaemond, and all the other claimants in the morrow" Daemon stated, I stood up, and the rest followed, "I do apologize, my lords, I must greet our guests"
I rounded the table and walked out the door, Daemon following behind, "Petition, Petition, Petition" I sighed at the thought of all that.
