Being Queen had its perks and one of those perks were knowing anything i wanted. "Please call for Ser Criston Cole" i said to the young boy in front of me, he quickly left and left me with Helaena.

A welcome feast is to be held in honour of Leanor and Rhaenyra's betrothal, if they marry i should at least know if she is as pure as she claims to be. Shortly after a knock on the door was heard, "Enter" i said and Ser Criston walked in, i put down a sleeping Helaena and returned to sit on the couch.

I motioned for him to sit down next to me, i wouldn't hurt him. He sat down and i offered him a small smile "Your grace" he said smiling back at me. "You are Rhaenyra's sworn protrector. She should not be in harm. But there is a burning question that needs to be answered" i said "Indeed, your grace."

"The night of Daemon's returned, there seems to be a rumor of... a lapse of morals that accured between Rhaenyra and Daemon" i stood up straightening my silver dress, "Of course i should not be questioning the princess's virtue, whom i hold in highest regard... but i have been wondering"

I looked at him straight in his eyes, for if he were to lie i would surely know. He quickly stood up and bowed his head "It happened, your grace.. the sin you allure to, i have commited it" i didnt know what to say, didnt know how to feel. Anger, because she lied or relief that it was not Daemon?

"I never wished to ruin her. At her instigation this happened... but that is no excuse. I have broken my oath, i have dishonoured myself. I deserve no consideration." That moment no one spoke, the door opened and Alicent walked in "Your grace, Ser Criston" she said, "Thank you for your honestly, Ser Criston. You may go"

He quickly left leaving Alicent and i alone, she looked at me curriously, "Daelora?" she asked, i walked over to the couch and almost fell sitting down "It was Criston, she promised, she swore it on her mother's death and yet she still lied" Alicent sat next to me and hugged me tightly.

Wedding feast

Every noble of every house was present for the feast, all to celebrate Viserys little girl. I did not want to attend this feats but i knew i had to. Alicent was braiding my hair, i looked over to the red dress laying on my bed. I looked at my reflection in the mirror then up at Alicent, she smiled softly at me and finished her braid.

Alicent wore a green dress her uncle, Hobert Hightower, gifted her. She looked beautiful, she helped into the dress, smiling at me as she moved stray hairs from my face. I looked at my reflection, i looked like a doll out of place, like i didnt fit in but i put on a fake smile.

She left shortly after, i sat back into my chair and looked at my reflection. "No. No. No" i whispered and quickly took off the dress.

I roamed through my clothing and found a beautiful sea green and silver Velaryon dress and quickly laced it up, i looked at my reflection pleased at what i was wearing. I left my chambers and walked to the feasting hoping to be very late, i could hear Viserys talking the closer i got.

I reached the opened door, Viserys stopped talking and looked at me, everyone turned their heads. I held my head up high and began walking the path, everyone stood up, their eyes not leaving me. I walked past the Velaryon table and uncle Vaemond offered me a proud smile.

I reached the royal table and noticed Daemon, i smiled at him but also to myself. I walked around the table and faced Rhaenyra, "Congratulations stepdaughter, what a joyous day this is for you" i said, i kissed Viserys cheek and faced everyone, all their eyes still on me.

"Please be seated" Viserys said, Daemon glanced at me then smiled to himself. "Where was i?" Viserys asked Lyonel, "The joining of two houses, your grace" he couldn't even remember his speech, i thought to myself. "With house Targaryen and house Velaryon as one. I hope to herald in a second age of dragons" he said and everyone applaud. "After tonights small affair, seven days of tournaments and feasting. And at the end of it all a royal wedding, between my daughter, my heir, your future Queen and Ser Laenor Velaryon the heir to Driftmark" he said finishing his speech.
