We entered the massive tent and everyone was already having a wonderful time. Alicent and I went over to a circle of older woman and Viserys went to sit at the chair appointment to him.
As we approached the woman they all stood up "Your grace" they all said in unison and bowed their heads, I slowly went to sit in a chair and Alicent went over and placed Aegon with a maiden and joined us after.
"Lady Johanna was reported to have been abducted when one of Lord Swann's ships sailed through the Stepstones" said one of the ladies and I recognized her as Ceire Lannister. "What will happen to Lady Johanna?" I asked very concerned "She's to be sold to a pillow house in the free cities, if you believe the rumors" replied Ceire.
"I fear the Gods did not make me for hunting, might I sit with you my ladies?" a strange man asked walking with a cane and has a metal brace on his leg. "Of course, please join us" I said and motioned to one of the chairs "Larys Strong, the youngest son of our Master of Law, Lord Lyonel" he introduced himself and I gave him a warm smile.
"My Lord husband says no King has ever been able to tame the Stepstones for long. It's a inhospitable place suites only for savages" said one of the ladies I had not recognized. "Perhaps the Princess... can give us some insight" Ceire said and we all turned to see Rhaenyra walking out from one of the curtains. "Oh, I'm not sure how I could. I've never been to the Stepstones" Rhaenyra said.
"Your dear uncle and your father" Ceire turned from Rhaenyra to me "is the great minds behind this war" she continued and everyone turns to her. I look at Alicent and we share a look. "Is he not?" Ceire asks wanting a answer "I wouldn't know. I haven't spoken to Daemon in years" she shot back but Ceire didn't look happy "Since you supplanted him as heir."
I knew this needed to stop and stepped in "Daemon made his choices, lady Ceire. The princess was more suited to the rule" I said and turned to Rhaenyra and gave her a reassuring smile "He's made a mess and the King must put an end to it. Send fleets and men and clear out the Triarchy for good" said a Lady Joselyn Redwyne.
"But the crown is not at war" Rhaenyra defended "The crown... is at war, Princess" Joselyn told her again "Though your father refuses to admit it, we've been dragged into it by your uncle and The Sea snake, the queen's father" Joselyn continues and somehow I felt responsible for what she said.
"And how have you served the realm of late, Lady Redwyne, by eating cake" Rhaenyra said and Joselyn looked offended and let her dog eat the rest of her cake. Everyone was quiet after that and things began getting tense, Rhaenyra then left us walked outside.
No one said a word after Rhaenyra left and we were all eating in an awkward silence. Some of the ladies felt and only Alicent, Cassandra, Nymeria and Larys were here to keep me company and conversate with. After some time Rhaenyra came rushing into the tent and approached Viserys.
They were talking about something I couldn't make out to be but then the conversation grew louder "-Marriage proposals, all. And I have tried often to discuss it with you.." Viserys said and most of the people turned their head to listen "but you've refused me at every turn."
"That is because I do not wish to get married" Rhaenyra shot back at Viserys "Even I do not exist above tradition and duty, Rhaenyra" Viserys shouts at her. Otto, the Hand, approaches them and stops the argument from getting worse.

Hours went by of sitting and talking that I hadn't even realize Rhaenyra was gone. I went over to check on Aegon by the wet nurses when I heard a conversation "We've sent out riders to find Rhaenyra, you grace. Ser Criston went after her, so the hope is that they are together" Lyonel told the King "The girl is a heedless contrarian. If I instead forbade her to wed a Lannister, she would've run off with Lord Jason out of spite" replied the King.
Viserys looked down "A truly great Targaryen King I am. Powerless over my own daughter of seven-and-ten" he said sounding a bit hurt "King Jaehaerys ruled over half a century of peace while his children drove him to the edge of madness, his daughters , in particular" said Lyonel trying to lighten up Viserys mood. "It is tradition, your grace"
Viserys chuckles and drinks his wine "Do you wish to hear my opinion on the matter?" asked Lyonel, Viserys sighed before saying "Should I guess? See Harwin "breakbones," the strongest knight in the seven kingdoms, is the best match for Rhaenyra"
"You flatter me, your grace but no. It seems to me the best match for Rhaenyra is your good-brother, the queen's brother, ser Leanor" he said and I thought to myself, Leanor marry Rhaenyra, he doesn't like woman, I couldn't bear to hear the conversation further and left the tent, Robin following behind.
When we got outside the cold air prickled my skin and I starting rubbing my arms. Rodin went back inside the tent and retrieved my coat and covered my shoulders. I sat outside for some time just enjoying the quiet, lately I just and to be alone but never get the opportunity.
I stood up to enter the tent I saw Viserys standing by the massive fire and I walked over to him. "Is everything alright, your grace?" I asked, Viserys looked upset about something "You know, I... I named her to protect the realm from Daemon. She was my only child. "The realms delight" I named her out of love because I no longer believed..."
Viserys stopped speaking at looked at the fire "Believe what, my love?" I asked, he only sighed and continued "Many in my line dragonriders. Very few among us have been dreamers. What is the power of a dragon..." I noticed how tired and he probably had too many to drink "The hour is to late husband, let's go to bed with Aegon" I suggested.
"When Rhaenyra was a child... I saw it in a dream... as vivid as these flames. I saw it. A male babe born to me wearing the conqueror's crown. And I so wanted it to be true, to be a dreamer myself. I sought that vision night after night but it never came again" he said and I thought that maybe the babe he saw was Aegon "Viserys, you can make that dream true, you have a son, Aegon, he is your son in your dream" I said, maybe Viserys dream was actually something he saw.
"I poured all my thought and will into it. And my obsession killed Rhaenyra mother" he said and a tear slid down his face "Viserys" I said softly "I thought Rhaenyra was the way out of my abyss of grief and regret. And naming her heir would begin to set things right" he said "Oh but it did Viserys" I said and rubbed his back reassuringly.
"I never imagined I would remarry..." he said and looked at me as if disgusted "that I would have a son. What if I was wrong" he said and I felt a tear slide down my cheek then looked down. He wiped away the tear "oh, Del I'm so sorry for what I said, your wonderful and our son is perfect" he said.
I gave him a small smile then a horn was blown, Viserys looked at the wine inside the glass and threw in into the fire. He placed his hand on my swollen belly and gently rubbed it. We then slowly walking into the tent Viserys, Aegon and I shared and Aegon was already fast asleep. I undressed and climbed into the bed Viserys laying behind me and holding the sides of my belly "I do hope Rhaenyra is ok" I tell Viserys who seemed half asleep only replies with a "Hmm."
