"Hey, can you come over my home?"

He asked her

She looked at him with disbelief.

"How can he ask just like that? "

She wanted to ask him but she didn't want to get into argument with this straight forward man

"NO"

"Oh ok then, Let's meet on Monday, we have to do our work with 2x speed because we will not meet for two days"

Akash's words were true and she knew it that it would be difficult in managing both classes and project on Monday but she can't go to his house.

"What if his house is small and it may cause hindrance for his family members? "

Going for two days in a row to a man's house she met few days ago, can be weird , atleast for her.

She bidded him good bye and left hostel thinking about his reaction when she said

"NO"

She felt he would manipulate her to come over his house but instead he agreed with her, something she didn't expect him to do

"Perhaps, a gentleman"

Her inner voice felt but another voice said

"Avani , why are you impressed for doing bare minimum? "

They felt pressurized for the amount of time they have to spend on this, Akash observed how focused she was.

He was feeling jealous by the amount of dedication she was putting on!

"Avani, why are tensed? Doing the work was in our hands but the results aren't."

"I know Akash but I am scared"

Akash mentally rolled his eyes.

"Why are you scared we did not kill a human, did we? "

His voice was stern.

"Akash, I spent a week on this project, I skipped classes and I don't want it to get me a bad name"

"The worst part is, all the eyes we're on us, as if we were doing something illegal or shooting a movie "

Avani was never a girl who got attention, earlier she felt devastated but later she realised that she doesn't need external validation .

Right now the whole college's eyes are fixed on these two workaholics

She is surely getting bad vibes from their eyes.

She spoke her heart out.

Akash sighed heavily, he stayed quiet for a while.

He didn't know what to answer.

How can she expect them not to have eyes on , despite knowing who he was. He felt she was over reacting.

Maybe she is feeling overwhelmed.

Such thoughts were all over his mind.

"Let's not speak about it"

Avani nodded

Today, they have to present their project and later they will get their results.

Every one started presenting their projects but when it was Avani&Akash's turn their was pin drop silence in the room.

It increased Akash and Avani 's anxiety but they plastered smile on their face and kept explaining their project.

The professors looked satisfied.

Avani and Akash breathed with relief

"Finally, our project is finished all I want is, it should score the highest score"

"Avani crossed her fingers."

"Anyway we will get that "

Akash told confidently.

"How are you so sure? "

Avani lifted her eyebrowed and questioned him.

"Well, that will happen for sure. Believe it or not"

Avani was confused.

How can he be so confident, of course their project was good but even others' project was not less than them.

Nevertheless she prayed God for their success
