*AVANI POV*

They told me the timings, I had to wake up as early as 4 o'clock in the morning.

At first,I was startled by looking at my new abode.

It felt strange, unfortunately, I realised that I'm not less than a claustrophobic.

I got up immediately and opened the window, glad that the room has ventilation.

The gush of air brought chills down my spine and unconsciously my hands moved towards my belly, more in a protective way.

I looked down at the little being, who's at his home, sound and drowsy.

I can somehow make out and understand my baby's movements.

I realised that, he/she sleeps a lot .

If he/she  gets up, I've to pace myself for the ultimate Football game he/she plays.

Obviously, our little Champ!!!

Those thoughts were enough to bring a small smile on my face and there was a mirror attached to this place.

I recalled how I had to sell all of the excess furniture we purchased, I needed money and this home has no space for all the luxury.

Many memories were attached to it, How he used to focus on my physiognomy everytime I looked into the mirror.

The way his fingers used to linger on every inch of my body.

Those days, I forgot about what the use of mirror really is, instead it was something which told me how my devoted my husband towards me is.

Mind you, it was infront of bed.

But this time, my face is puffed , my cheeks have turned red, I don't know why.

But I can assure that there's this glow, which is growing everyday.

I took my yoga mat and searched for yoga for pregnant woman and did my part.

My Gynac told me to do exercise which will help me to give birth easily without any struggle.

I gave my word to my tiny heart, that I'll protect our baby.

I quickly took bath and got ready.

The water was bitterly cold and didn't fail to bring the goosebumps.

At around 5 I somehow gathered courage and got down with heavy steps.

After the marathon of me ended, the endless steps made me feel that I was going to the earth's crust.

I wondered how I would climb again.

I went towards the kitchen and same bunch of women, who seemed to be widows.

The laughter broke and they eyed me from head to toe.

It felt like I was in a MRI scan

I gulped with great nervousness and heard them mumbling around themselves.

There was one lady who approached me and held my hand.

Without any delay I gasped and widened my eyes.

She didn't turn back and look at me, she took me to a place where there were bags of vegetables lying and they looked as if they want me to do their assassination.
