BALA POV

I was sitting on our bed and was wondering how I can start a conversation with my husband and speak with him.

Within few seconds he came in.

He appeared damn exhausted.

As a reflex, I got up and sat on the edge of the bed.

He was keenly observing me while he removed his watch.

His gaze is quite different than what I expect men to have.

He gently drops his head down and raises his eyebrows and looks right into my eyes.

I was unsure where I should smile or stay numb.

I pressed my lips together and cluttered my eyes while the other side of the bed dipped and I felt him sleeping on his side.

I didn't turn back and for some reason my legs were shivering and I was tightly clutching my saree's pallu.

"Bala."

My name never sounded so beautiful.

I tilted my head towards side and looked at him, he kept his right hand below his head.

I was rapidly blinking my eyes and my lips moved apart.

"If you are okay with it, I would like you to come a bit closer to me as I can't see you."

He was uttering words with strong eye contact.

"If...you can't see me, then I'll give you , your spectacles, wear them and see me."

I said while biting my lips.

"Bala..not all the times spectacles will make things clear but, in the case of husband and wife the closer you are, the better everything gets."

I nodded my head and understood the digused meaning in it.

I moved nearer and he leaned closer , evidently he was invading my personal space and one thing caught my eye was that his two buttons of shirt were open.

His hairy shirt made me go mad for some reason.

He signalled me to sleep beside him.

I gently laid my head on his elbow and for the first time I looked into his siren eyes.

Hey Krishna! How's he so handsome?

The most important question is, why am I feeling safe around him?

"Emana cheppochu ga Bala?"

(Can you please tell me anything Bala?)

I was unaware why his eyes depicted his wounded self which is perhaps unknown to the world.

"What...can...I say..?.??"

"Anything, be it the most silliest or the most random and illogical thing, I'm ready to hear you out."

"Random?"

I raised my eyes.

He moved more closer to me and I was able to feel his breathe.

He has a pointy nose and has no facial hair, resembled a baby.

"Naaku...beerakaya iguru istam kani beerakaya pappu chala chandalanga untundi...chi...kani letta beerakaya..tholu tho.. rothi pachadi untadii....abbbaa...swargam bava..."
