"Baby love!" Chris beamed walking into my office. He'd been away for five days and i'd missed him like crazy.

"Hey babyyyy" I squealed equally as excited and stood to meet him in a hug before he pulled back and kissed my cheek.

"I missed you so much." He said sweetly with his head in my neck and I blushed as I always did and pulled back to look at him.

"How you get more fine every time I don't see you for more than 24 hours?" I quizzed with my brows furrowed and he chuckled waving me off as he walked around my desk.

"You know they say absence makes the heart grow fonder... And the pussy wetter." He added slickly and I shook my head in a laugh following him out the office into our living area.

"Where you all dressed to go?" He asked pulling off his shoes and I sighed.

"Babe, we're supposed to be going to see the fertility dr today remember?" I asked realising he must've forgot and watched him raise his brows realising it'd slipped his mind.

"Oh damn, I forgot babe. I'm sorry - why you ain't remind me?" He said flipping it back on me and I rolled my eyes.

"I reminded you 100 times before you left, you knew I booked it in the only window we had between your trip and going to VA for the holiday." I shot back, because I had. He'd been finding a million ways to tell me he didn't want to start this fertility journey without actually saying he wasn't with it. and it was starting to piss me off now.

"It's fine Chris. If you can't go then i'll just go alone." I said turning my back to him and started my walk to the hall where my bag and shoes were.

"Woah woah woah. I didn't say I couldn't go with you. Chill." He dragged out on my heels and I huffed turning back to him.

"Well the appointment is in an hour and you taking your shoes off so what am I supposed to think?" I shot again still aggravated and he placed his hands on my shoulders.

"Kam, stop being so hypersensitive. I never said I wasn't going with you, it just slipped my mind that it was today. I'm sorry." He said clearly trying to calm down my annoyance and I sighed.

"I just feel like you keep finding 100 different things to do than be here for me in this Chris. The Dr said our chances of getting pregnant naturally again are small. We been trying for a year, held the wedding up, I stopped working, stopped drinking, started yoga, pilates, cycling - everything. And you can't even remember we have an appointment." I told him getting emotional and he sighed pulling me in and pressed my face into his chest.

"I'm sorry I made you feel that way mama. I just want you to be happy again." He said still holding me tight and I looked up from his chest into his soft eyes and furrowed mine.
