"Ah mama this is cute - but i'm not wearing this." I told Kam looking over the matching fit she'd put out for me. She had gotten up early to get the kids dressed for our family day out and thought it'd be cute to dress us all in matching sets.
"Oh come on Chris, look how cute they look, you don't want to join the fun?" She probed and I laughed at her silliness as she slid through the pictures of the twins and Zion and Nova.
"And it is cute, but orange ain't my color." I said back smacking her butt that was in the confines of the orange set as I walked past her to my bathroom.
"Whatever, at least wear a neutral color that works with what we got going on or you can't be in none of our pictures." She said following behind me into the bathroom.
"What?" She said when I turned to her and I looked down at her with a smirk as one played on her face.
"Come shower with me." I spoke lowly and moved to pull her closer to me and she immediately sucked her teeth.
"Come on you ain't got your make-up on yet. We'll be quick." I said again with my head in her neck and she giggled as she always did before pulling back.
"My hair is going to get wet, I just laid it babe." She fought as i lifted her top up over her head. She knew what she was doing when she walked up in here with me.
"Take that shit off Kam - its just us here." I resulted and she burst up laughing.
"Nigga don't play this is my hair." She said tip toeing to kiss me and i lifted her up around my hips and got to work.

"You look so good in orange baby." Kam said from beside me as Khari played in her lap and Khris did in mine.
"Yeah whatever you tricked me. You know you can get me to do anything when you put i-"
"Mommy!" Nova sang coming back over from Kam's mother interrupting my words and Kam smiled up at her fighting off the laugh she was clearly going to burst into.
"Yes baby?" She asked back and Nova moved to sit by her mother and baby brother.
"Mama Jas have a Khris too!" Nova informed and I immediately chocked on air.
"You alright?" Kam asked patting my back and i nodded quickly watching as she turned back to our daughter.
"Mama Jas have a baby!" Nova blurted again and Kam furrowed her brows to look up at me again.
"Wait, is Jasmine pregnant?!" She half shouted in surprise and i half wanted to tell my messy ass daughter to shut up.
"Yeah. She wanted to tell you when they came in town next week. Thanks Nova" I joked trying to not come off suspicious but Kam's mouth turning up told me she felt the shift. I was not planning on telling her like this.
Jasmine and Heiress hadn't been to LA in the 2 months since Kam had been out the hospital and I was glad they hadn't - I had be withholding information from Kam that required more than time.
"Oh my God, baby that's amazing. I won't mention to her that I know. We spoken so many times, she never mentioned anything!" Kam said full of excitement and i smiled shortly.
"Yeah she pretty big now." I added mundanely and she chuckled.
"Kamaiyah honey come here let me show you something!" My mom shouted from the other side of the garden and Kam handed me Khari before following the command.

"I still can't believe Jasmine is pregnant - i didn't even know she was with somebody." Kam said as she got out of her clothes. We'd been out all day with the kids, neesha, mijo and their kids, lani and her boys, our mothers, Janaie and Kai.
"Babe. You don't hear me talking to you?" She said turning from the mirror she was undressing in front of.
"My bad baby, you good?" I said tapping out of my deep thought and she chuckled.
"Are you good? You been acting weird since earlier..." she trailed walking over to me and I nodded.
"I'm good. I'm good mama." I said twice and she lifted her hand to rub down my face and pecked me.
"Well I'm here if you want to talk." she said sweetly and stood to go to her bathroom.

When i finished washing up to get in the bed the plan was to fall asleep, but Chris was still awake and at this point I was so thrown off by his energy shift I had to pry.
"What is it babe?" I asked him shortly because I felt like i needed to, he was holding something and I could feel it.
"What you talking about?" He asked in the dark of the room and I turned my lamp on to see him.
"You. you been acting weird since lunch time you're making me nervous" I pushed and he sighed sitting up.
"Is it Jasmine? I feel like you been thrown off since her being pregnant got brought up." I pushed and watched him sigh.
"... I got something I need to tell you Kam, but I can't tell you a half truth." He said finally and I shook my head.
