Aiden
My head was pounding when I woke up, my body strained and unable to move. As I opened my eyes I looked around my surroundings, a blinding light above my head that filled my vision with white for a moment.
Then my vision cleared and I realized I was in a cement room and tied to a metal chair, that happened to be bolted to the ground. I don't know what I was tied with, but it was digging into my wrists and the burning sensation was awfully unpleasant.
My legs were tied as well, but my jeans prevented the material from slicing into my skin down there. They had stripped me of my jacket and belongings, including my belt. My jeans sagged a bit and my tattooed arms were now exposed, my curls stuck to my forehead becuase of the warm room temperature.
That and the stress of being kidnapped.
The last thing I could remember was running after Maria.
Maria.
I strained against the ties, grunting in pain as my wrists burned. "Fucking hell!" I yelled, panting as I stopped my straining. There was no point.
I heard a door open behind me, eyes darting up to the security cameras in the corner.
"You've got to be joking."
A man walked in front of me, his. neck tattooed and his hair short. He was looking at me, sizing me up with his arms crossed. He was dressed in all dark colors, a shiny gun strapped to his jeans.
"You aren't Marco, are you?" He said, looking down at me. I met his eyes with a smile, finding the idea amusing.
"Im a 6'4 black guy, obviously not." I said, the guy rolling his eyes.
"Where is he then?" He asked, probably not fond of my sense of humor.
"Im not sure." I attempted a shrug, biting my cheek as the ties dug further into my wrists. "Why?"
The man laughed, suddenly grabbing his gun and holding it to my forehead. "Where is he?"
"I don't know." I emphasized every word, staring into the man's cold eyes.
"You we're with his sister." He tilted his head, slightly confused.
I bit my lip, looking at him. "I know where she is, not him."
"Oh?" The man grinned, flashing silver teeth. "How dirty, she a good fuck?"
"Don't you even fucking think about touching her." I spat the words, straining against the ties again. I wanted to kill him for saying that, or even thinking it.
"I see." He said, grinning down at me as he pulled the gun away from my head. "Maybe you'll reconsider telling me later."
The man was walking away before I could ask anymore questions, the door shutting with a loud slam. I was alone again.
Clearly these guys wanted Marco and had kidnapped me by mistake, which was utterly stupid. I look nothing like Marco.
Nonetheless, Maria was here. And that meant I needed to get to her.
I sat alone in the room while thinking of an escape plan. If I could get someone to work with me, tell me where Maria is, I could get us out. I just needed to not get killed trying.
And then I heard the screams. They were loud and filled with pain, Maria's voice so recognizable. It was unbearable. The loudness increased as if someone had simply turned up the volume, her sobs mixing with her screams.
I wanted to scream, to smash someone's face in. I wanted to run to her and stop whatever was hurting her because I simply couldn't take it. I squeezed my eyes shut, head tilted back. "STOP IT!"
