"No no no no!" Beck was trying to drag Ray out to the lunch table. Well, he wasn't trying to drag her out there. He was trying to go out and get food. "The bees!""Baby, I promise I won't get stung."
"Dem a guh smell mi pan yuh an attack!"
"That's not- Ray, I'm just going to get food."
"An wah eff yuh nuh come back?"
"Then at least you'll be safe in the school." He kissed her nose, heading outside just as Tay and Jade came in with food.
"Well damn, how are you gonna leave?" Jade asked when she noticed her anxiosly waiting at the doors, Ray shrugging.
"Look like yuh heart wan jump right out." Tay mumbled, taking a seat on the stairs and unwrapping his food to eat it.
"See? No stings." Beck entered minutes later, Ray looking him over before going over to the stairs to eat.
"Aw man, y'all started without us?"
"Ray's stress eating." Cat pointed out, watching her shovel food in her mouth. Andre had gone out to get her since she was waiting at their table, Tori following the two of them.
"Take a stair, any stair." Beck jokingly motioned to the two open stairs with them, Andre and Cat laughing and taking their seats.
"Can I-"
"Go away? Yes, you can." Jade and Tay said at the same time, not looking up from their food.
"You can sit there!" Cat pointed at the floor, Tori huffing and sitting down. Beck and Ray were sitting back to back, Robbie leaning back against their shoulders and having a quiet argument with Rex.
"AH WHAT THE FUCK!" Ray jumped up before she even saw the bee, hearing it too close to her ears. She almost rolled down the stairs, Tay rolling up a paper and smacking it.
"See? Everyone but me. They'll go after the person terrified of them before they go for me!" Andre angrily stabbed at his food, Cat nodding and watching Jade grab the bee's body with a napkin and throw it in the trash.
"Script pages?" Beck flinched when Tori made a grab for the script he was reading, not noticing her move at all.
"Not for you." He pulled back a bit, Ray sitting again. This time, she faced him and wrapped her arms around his stomach. "Don't rub my belly."
"Tummy talks!" Beck smiled when she scrunched his stomach, Ray mimicking a grumpy voice.
"I have to focus, beauty." She shrugged, patting his stomach a few times before settling for hugging him. "Thank you."
"You're auditioning for a play?" Tori asked him, trying to catch a glimpse of anything to hint at what was on the paper.
"Sort of. It's a movie." Beck leaned his head back on Ray's shoulder and raised his arms to read the script, Ray watching whatever videos Tay was showing her.
