They were all at lunch eating when Cat and Ray came up, the redhead put something on the table, Ray pulling her shorts down. Everyone didn't even bother to look up.
"Don't you guys wanna know what it is?" Cat asked, Ray standing behind her to hide her shorts. She had avoided Beck all day because of them and now she was standing across from him.
"Is it a transporter from the future that can beam you to another table?" Jade asked her, squinting from the sun. "Cause if it is, what button do I push?"
"That's so hurtful." Cat said.
"You know, you don't always have to be mean to everyone." Tori spoke up.
"See, Tori's interested in my device!"
"I'm really not." Tori said in a kind of whiny voice. "Hey, why aren't you sitting with Beck, Ray?"
"C-cause the sun is pointing that way!" Ray stuttered, not making eye contact as she messed with her shorts.
"Aw, come on little red, tell us about your doo-hickey." Andre said, making Cat excitedly smile.
"Okay, so it's called a Snowbee. Watch." Cat winked at Ray and she facepalmed, knowing that she wouldn't be able to run fast enough. She pushed a button and Ray hugged her as fake snow shot out, covering their table. "It makes pretend snow!"
"We see tha-ooooh, I'm gonna tell." Andre said as he spotted Ray's shorts, the girl motioning for him to stay quiet.
"It's all over my tostada." Beck said while looking at the snow, not hearing what Andre said.
"And my pizza." Jade said, blowing some of the snow off.
"Well do not eat it." Cat told them seriously, making them look at her.
"Why?" Tori asked her, Jade 'oooh'-ing in the background as she saw Ray's shorts.
"Cause it says that the fake snow is toxic and can cause abdominal bleeding." Cat said, making everyone push their food away.
"So what made you buy a machine that poisons peoples lunches?" Tori asked while looking up at Cat, her eyes lingering on Ray's shorts, understanding Jade and Andre's reactions. Cat held up a magazine with a smile on her face.
"This catalogue!"
"Sky Store?" Beck asked, reading the name from the cover.
"Yeah! We went to visit my aunt and uncle this weekend in San Francisco and they had these on the plane. It's, like, filled with all kinds of cool stuff you can buy! Ooh, like this! A tree face!" Cat turned the catalogue around so they could see what she was talking about. "You put it on your tree to give it a face!"
"What if you don't have a tree?" Ray finally spoke up, still not looking at anyone.
"It also works on bushes!"
