Very short chapter because I didn't really know how to write her in this episode, but only two more chapters after this for season one!
"Listen, you kick my seat again and Imma give you the whoopin ya momma right there shoulda." Ray threatened the kid behind her, the young boy nodding as he sat in his seat right.
"Aye, ya friends callin." Dashae said while handing Ray her laptop, the girl accepting their invitation to the chat and waving when the call conmected.
"Oh, you onna plane too Vega?" Ray and Dashae had flown over to their grandparents in Chicago, the rest of their siblings (minus Cat since she didn't want to) taking a two day bus ride with their parents.
"Yeah, but-"
"Do it again. Do it again if you want to."
"Ray he ain't nothin but nine." Dashae said as he sat his sister down, going back to texting whoever he was on the phone with.
"And Imma beat his ass he keep fucking with me." Ray looked back at the laptop and waved at Beck. "Don't gimme that look. He wanna act up, Imma get my belt to put his ass in place."
"Ray, mom said to call her when you get back." Cat remembered while playing with her hair, a bright smile on her face as she giggled. "I can call her that now."
"Wassup Kit Cat. You can't see me or somethin?" Dashae asked as he basically shoved his face into the camera, Cat laughing.
"You so embarrassin, move." Ray huffed as she pushed him away, closing her eyes as the boy kicked her seat again. "It's okay, he got three more chances. He strike out and this belt gone strike him."
"Why his momma ain't doin nothin?" Andre questioned while they watched Ray grip a belt she pulled out of thin air.
"It's alright. Imma beat her ass too. What we onna call for?" Ray asked them as she opened her eyes, fianlly noticing the dog Beck had. "Um, who the fuck?"
"Hold on hold on, who the fuck?" Dashae asked as he also peeped the dog, the siblings turning to face each other.
"If two plus two is four..."
"Mhm."
"And five plus five is ten."
"Mhm."
"Then what the fuck is this?" Ray asked as she motioned towards Beck's side of the screen. "Cause I don't remember him having a dog."
"I'm babysitting my neighbors dog."
"Ain't his neighbor a cheerleader?" Dashae asked as he scratched the side of his head, going back to his phone. "But that ain't none of my business."
"Beck, assure me that nothing is going on between you and any cheerleader or female that could be your neighbor." Ray sighed, her crazy side speaking to her.
"There is nothing going on between me and any other girl."
"Ok-"
"Attention. Flight *** has been delayed."
"Hold this." Ray said as she put her laptop on Dashae lap, her friends watching with wide eyes as she leaned over her seat and started whooping the mom and her son. "And I dare you to cry!"
"Isn't that technically assault?" Tori asked, the other three staying out of it by shrugging. Ray let out a huff and took her laptop back before glancing behind her.
"Bet you think twice about kicking another seat." She turned back to the camera and smiled at them. "So, what y'all got going on with the script so far?"
"A boy in a closet."
"Excuse me? Did you just say 'a boy in a closet'?" Ray asked as she stifled her laughs. "Is he coming out?"
"Cat! We're home!" Ray yelled through the house as she dragged in her bag, a large yawn leaving her. Knowing that the group didn't get any work done after she got disconnected, she had written the script by hand with some papers she took from her grandma.
Cat came bounding down the stairs and hugged them, helping Ray with her other bag.
"What we trynna eat?" Ray asked as she stretched, being shoved upstairs and into her room by her siblings, looking at them in confusion. "Y'all not hungry?"
"Just relax. I'll cook." Dashae said, Ray blankly staring at him. "I can cook!"
"And I can walk on water." Ray said as she pushed past him, going into their upstairs kitchen. "Last time you cooked you almost burnt down the kitchen."
"Damn y'all stay bringing up old shit."
"Can we just order Chinese?" Cat suggested, already having her phone out.
"Good, I gotta shower."
