Into The Spotlight

"Hey are you busy," asks Tessa as Liam lays down his guitar.

"No I'm just enjoying the peace while Latricia is out spending my money," he laughs sarcastically.

"I'm sorry I'll come back later," says Tessa as she can see his mood isn't the best.

"No it's fine what's up," he asks as she picks up his guitar.

"I know this is going to sound crazy but can you teach me how to play guitar? I figured my fans in one of my upcoming shows would love to see me play one song," she says as Liam decides why not.

He helps her hold the guitar as he shows her where her hands and fingers go. He lets her test it out as she isn't that bad after watching it the last couple of months. "So I always learn by watching. I'm very quick a picking up tunes and visually watching other players. I can't say the same for you but I'll teach you how to play one of my songs that is very guitar heavy so you get that good feel of what to expect," he says.

Liam walks over as he pulls out another guitar to play along. He starts to show her the chords of his song as she picks it up very quickly. She is so stoked at being able to play guitar as she never even thought it would be a possibility.

"This ain't so bad," she says as Liam fixes her hand placement.

"Nah it's pretty straightforward and a very easy song to play," he says as he starts helping her with the next verse.

Milton walks by the door as he sees them playing. "What's going on here another duet," he jokes as Tessa shows him the guitar he is holding.

"I didn't see that you planning on playing," he asks as he thinks it would be great if she learned some instruments.

"Yeah I'm actually a natural talent I would say but Liam is also a fantastic teacher. He has a very easy way of explaining it," she says as she kills the song so far.

Liam watches as he is very impressed with how good she is already. Milton looks at her as he claps to her natural talent. "I think you should write yourself a song where you can play during," he says as Tessa points at him as she likes the idea.

Right before the show things start to hit the fan for the superstars as Matthew calls Tessa complaining about her fans.

"I just don't understand why they keep doing it," he says as Tessa wants him to relax.

"They have nothing better to do than fantasize about us while we are on tour. Once we are done they won't even think about us together," she says as Matthew does agree.

"It's just tough seeing people support the both of you more than us," says Matthew as Tessa points out the obvious.

"They don't know you Matthew if they did they would. They just know you as the guy I brought out on stage and called my boyfriend. You have to remember Liam's fans are at our concerts too so when our fan bases connect by shipping us," she says as Matthew finally cools down.

"You're right I'm sorry Tessa it's just hard when it's all I see on Twitter," says Matthew as she understands his struggle.

"Trust me Twitter would have a field day if they heard the arguments coming from Liam's warm-up room right now," she says as she hears it all the way down the hall.

"It's fucking bullshit how they just love Tessa more than me. I'm Latricia Monroe for fucks sake," she says as she flips her hair.

Liam sighs as he can't believe they are doing this 15 minutes before showtime. "Who gives a fuck right now. Honestly, I have to be on stage in like 15 minutes and I shouldn't be dealing with my model girlfriend who is insecure about my best friend's fucking girlfriend," he makes sure to point out.
