Grammy Nominations

The Grammy nominations are out as a huge bombshell is dropped by the academy. Milton reads all the nominations as he can't believe what he is seeing. He rides over to Tessa's house who is already celebrating.

"I see you already saw the big news," he says as she dances around the living room.

"Artist of the year, album of the year, record of the year, song of the year, and best pop album," she screams as Milton claps at her accomplishment.

Liam is woken up by notifications as he wakes up to see his nominations. Album of the Year, Record of the Year, song of the year, artist of the year, and rock album of the year. He jumps up as he is super excited. He looks at the other nominees as he sees Tessa for a lot of categories as well. He smiles as he is glad she is getting the success she deserves.

All of the team shows up at Tessa's house to celebrate. Tessa welcomes them all inside as they give her high fives. "I just want to thank you all for pushing me and giving me this opportunity," she says as they all cheer.

"Can you believe Liam's new song got nominated so quickly after release," says their sound manager as Milton nods.

"That was a hell of a song," he says as Tessa thinks about what he is doing right now after seeing his nominations.

Her sound manager accidentally lets it slip about "Halo" as Tessa catches it. "Imagine if he kept Halo to himself, he would have two songs of the year," says her writing manager as she looks at Milton.

"What do you mean kept "Halo"," she asks as Milton tries to act like it was a mistake.

"He doesn't know what he is saying," says Milton as the writing manager looks like he is about to sweat. Tessa looks around as she notices everyone looking nervous.

"What is going on right now? You just said if he kept Halo," she reiterated as Milton decides to stop lying to her.

He sits her down on the couch as everyone stands there. "So one day I went over to Liam's house before the falling out between you two and recovered some of his music to start finalizing and stuff," he says as Tessa instantly realizes Liam wrote it.

"Oh my god," she says as Milton continues.

"He had "Halo" written down and when I came to tell him how amazing it was and the impact it would have on his career he told me to give it to you. He knew your numbers were slipping and he decided to give you the song instead of keeping it for himself. We tried to tell him how big it would be and the impact it could have on his career but he still refused and told us to give it to you. He knew you wouldn't accept it if you knew the implications on its potential success so he made me and the writing team take credit so you would never know," says Milton as Tessa begins to freak out.

"I think I'm going to throw up," she says as she starts to breathe heavily.

"It's ok though he made a new song that clearly is rocking off the charts," he says as Tessa shakes her head no.

"My biggest hit song was written by Liam and probably about me. The lyrics I sing are about me," she says as she is freaking out.

"It's ok it's part of the business artist write songs for other artists all the time," says Milton as he tries to calm her down.

She starts to cry as she can never hear the song the same way again. "I'm relishing off his hit song about me because he didn't want to see me fail. How am I ever supposed to sing that song again without thinking about him? How do I go on stage and accept the award if I win knowing what he did for me," she says as Milton waves for everyone to leave.

"That's the kind of guy he is and he wanted you to have it. I know it definitely isn't the easiest thing to hear but trust me it's what we all wanted," says Milton as Tessa cries.

"It's not the fact everyone lies or he wrote the song. It's the fact that the lyrics are him talking about me and the success he could've had with this song but gave it up for me. He gave up the biggest song in his career knowing it would become that," she says as Milton agrees.

"He did and he did it all for you," says Milton as he decides to let her be alone with her feelings.

"Milton I haven't been able to sleep since he released that new song and now this," she says.

"Well like I said you got a difficult choice to make," says Milton as he gets ready to leave. "I'll see you tomorrow take the day off and celebrate your nominations."

Matthew at home talks with Ralph about the Grammys coming up while Ralph tells him not to worry.

"Don't worry about it she already stopped talking to him so you have nothing to worry about," says Ralph as Matthew can't handle the stress.

"I know but I know how he is I bet he is thinking about some bullshit speech if he wins song of the year for that song he wrote about her," says Matthew as he goes on Twitter.

"You should stay off Twitter if you don't want to get even more upset because you know how the fans are," says Ralph as Matthew tosses his phone down.

"Maybe I should go to the Grammys with her to support her," says Matthew as he thinks about Liam and that song.

"I think you need to relax and just let her do her thing. She hasn't had a real conversation with Liam since their falling out practically. I'm sure everything will be fine," says Ralph as he looks at Lauren.

Matthew goes to grab a drink as Ralph looks at Lauren. "I have a bad feeling about these Grammys," says Ralph.

In LA Liam has a secret dinner with Milton as he had to come thru to grab some music from his place. "You know your song is quite the hit. I would say a multi-platinum soon hit," laughs Milton.

"Yeah well, the song has haunted me ever since. Everywhere I go people shout Tessa's name at me or on social media it is all I see," says Liam as he drinks his wine.

"Well you're doing better than Tessa," he says as Liam looks at him funny.

"What's wrong with Tessa," asks Liam.

"Oh, she has been struggling since we watched you perform the song live on TV. She also found out this morning you wrote "Halo" so she has been emotional about that as well," says Milton as Liam drops his fork.

"How did she find out about that," asks Liam as he didn't want her to know.

"Writing manager accidentally said it and she heard and interrogated us into telling her," he says as Liam shakes his head.

"She wants you not Matthew, I don't know how long it is going to take for her to realize that. I think you should talk to her about your feelings and have her talk to you about hers. Until you both talk about them it is never going to get better for either of you," he says as Liam looks out in the restaurant.

"When she shows me that she wants to talk to me I'll talk until then I'm going to do as she asked and stay away," says Liam as Milton tried.
