I slowly opened my eyes as i heard my alarm ring.
I stared at the ceiling for a few minutes then finally got back to my senses. I got out of my bed, put on my slippers and went to the bathroom.
I washed my face so i can ACTUALLY wake up.
After that i went back into my room and changed my clothes into light baggy jeans and a black hoodie.
I did my skincare and makeup, packed my bag and went downstairs.
I looked outside the window and it was pouring rain. I sighed and got an umbrella and waited for Layla to honk.
It's literally august, shouldn't it be sunny and warm?
When i finally heard Layla i went outside and got into her car.
We were talking about her date with Eric on friday and about what she's gonna wear, what they are going to do and blah blah
We arrived and got out of the car.
My eyes met his eyes.
Nick's eyes.
I quickly looked away.
Honestly, i'm still asking myself why he saved that seat for me. I mean, what the hell??
He hates me I hate him so why the fuck did he save me a seat NEXT to HIM.
I'm not really planning on asking him, though.
It would be so awkward.
I mean, what do i say?
"Hey yeah i kind of heard that you apparently saved a seat for me next to you, why did you do that?"
Yeah, no. I'm not doing that shit.
But right now it's not the right time to think about this.
Me and Layla went to our lockers, got our books and got on our way to our class.
We had english together. It's my favourite subject. Probably because it's one of the only subjects i'm actually good at.

School wasn't that bad today. Actually, me and nicholas didn't even talk or anything.
We weren't even near each other. We just had that, weird awkward eye contact.
When it was lunch time i just wanted to bury myself because of the awkwardness whenever me and nick had eye contact.
Right now i was sitting at a cafe, doing homework while drinking my coffe.
I love those days where you're basically freezing to death, but then you go into a warm cafe and drink a hot burning coffe.
I'm such a coffe person. Iced coffe, hot coffe, i don't care. Coffe is coffe.
Like i said, i was doing my homework until i saw someone walk in the cafe.
Mateo? What is he doing here?
He isn't even alone, basically the whole basketball team is with him. wich also includes the one and only, Nicholas.

I slammed my head on the table, hiding my face infront of my laptop. If they see me it's going to be so cringy.
But guess what! Someone poked me.
I looked up to see Mateo with a grin on his face. His teammates were farther away, talking and laughing.
I sigh.
,,Are you seriously still coming to this place all the time to study alone? I thought you were over that." Mateo chuckled.
I rolled my eyes ,,Why? Is it a bad thing i'm trying to get my grades back up or what." I scoffed.
Suddenly two of his teammates start walking to us. Josh and Finn.
I mean they're pretty nice. Especially Finn. We talk at school sometimes.
And Josh, well...
He hit on me a year ago, then my brother cursed him out.
He's a nice guy though. Honestly, i would've probably even dated him if my brother wouldn't be so overpotective.
,,Ela? What are you doing here? Are you alone?" Josh asked.
,,Yeah i'm just uhm i was just studying."
Suddenly they pulled over a few chairs to my table. I looked at them confused.
,,Come on you can stop your study session for an hour." Mateo whined.
I mean he's right, overworking myself is even worse.
So i just gave in and closed my laptop and put it back inside my schoolbag.
,,So why are you all here, in a cafe? I mean usually you would be at a bar right now.", I asked them.
Finn rolled his eyes. ,,Exactly! But no Nicholas insisted on coming to this cafe. I really don't understand. What's it with this cafe? Does it have magical air or what?"
I chuckled.
He's really getting mad because instead of being at a bar he ended up at a cafe. Can't relate. But it's really hard to believe that NICHOLAS ROJAS wanted to go to a cafe instead a bar. That's not very Nicholas like.
It's not like i know him that well anyways. I shake him out of my thoughts and focus back on Mateo, Josh and Finn.
Suddenly more and more boys from the basketball team come to our table. One by another..
And the last one was, i guess you know already, Nick.
I sighed and drunk a sip from my coffe.
We were all talking and laughing about some stupid joke Finn made.
Suddenly Mateo spoke
,,Hey, am i the only one who noticed or did elena and nick not fight even ONCE today."
I cough silently.
,,Oh my gosh you two are hooking up!" Zack, another teammate yells but quiet enough for just the table to hear.
,,WHAT? NO!" Me and Nicholas shout at the same time and look at each other.
,,I hate him!"
,,Exactly and i hate her!" He says back.
,,Oh yeah for sure." Zack says, obviously not believing us.
We change the topic and after a while we all go home.
It was now 5pm.
I change my clothes and take off my makeup.
I go downstairs to eat something.
I made myself a fruit bowl and go back upstairs with it.
While i ate my fruit bowl i rewatched the vampire diaries.
That show seriously never gets old.
After eating and watching a few more episodes of the vampire diaries, i decids its time to go to sleep.
And not long after, my eyes shut and i fall asleep.
