I love my best friend, but sometimes I want to kill her.
Just like right now.
Mateo asked me and Layla if we want to go to the beach with him and Nick. Of course not! Then my plan with ignoring Nick is going to be way harder!
So I wanted to say no, but my goddamn best friend told them YES!
I WANT TO SCREAM!
„Okay then get ready, we'll wait." My brother tells us.
Fuck him for asking us.
As soon as they leave my room and close the door I hit Layla.
„Hey! Girl, oh my god stop!" She tries to protect herself by putting her hands up her face.
I groan, „Are you fucking crazy for god's sake?! I just told you that me and Nicholas kissed and that I want to ignore him! WHY DID YOU SAY YES?"
The crazy lady here rolls her eyes, „Oh come on, calm down. It won't even be thag bad. We'll have a walk at the beach, you and Nicholas can get closer and you guys can have a secret affair!"
What the fuck.
„LAYLA! STOPPPP!" I whine and fall on the floor dramatically and she just laughs.
„Whatever you don't have a choice. Go get ready."
I sigh but do as she says, knowing I have no other choice.
I'm still in my pyjamas right now, so first i'll choose my outfit.
After 10 minutes of me and Layla trying to decide what I'm gonna wear, I ended up wearing dark blue wide jeans and a baby pink crop top that's sleeveless.
Honestly, it's out of my comfort zone but Layla hyped me up to wear this.
But I'm still wearing a black zip hoodie that's downstairs over it, it's gonna be too cold without one anyway.
After my outfit was ready, I went over to my desk.
I put on my 5 step skincare routine and do my makeup after.
I just wore concealer, powder over it, blush, mascara, lipstick and clear lipgloss over it.
Finished.
"You ready?" Layla grins.
I nod. I hope I look good.
I want Nick to think that I look cute.
WHAT NO I DON'T.
I hate this.
Layla takes my hand and we go downstairs, seeing the boys in the living room.
The both of them look up from their phones and look at us.
I don't focus on my brother, only Nick.
I try to be sneaky with it but i look at him for a few seconds.
He's so beautiful. I know you're supposed to call boys handsome or whatever, but he really is beautiful. I wish he wouldn't be so cute, then it would be easier to ignore him and forget about what happened.
And he catched me. He catched me looking at him. Shit!
Nicholas licks his lips as he looks at me from head to toe.
I don't have my zip hoodie on yet.
Nick shifts around while man spreading and puts his arm over his thigh.
Mateo clears his throat before speaking, "Okay, let's go."
We walk to Mat's car, he's so spoiled, he literally got his own car.
We're about to get in the car until Layla speaks up.
"Nick, I'm sorry but I have a pretty bad headache, do you mind if i sit in the front?"
I clench my jaw. Is she crazy?!
"Uh no, it's cool." Nicholas gets in the backseat with me.
I hate my life.
"Okay who's putting the music on?" My brother turns to us- so me and Nicholas but still looking at my best friend at the same time.
"Me!" Layla and Nick yell at the same time but Layla said it first.
"She said it first." I tease and Nick groans.
"You fuckers." He mumbles under his breath.
Layla puts on 'Nothin' on you' by B.o.B and Bruno mars.
She LOVES bruno mars, but let's be real, who doesn't?
Me and Nick sit in silence in the back and after 10 minutes, Mat comments, „You guys didn't fight at all today. You didn't even talk with each other. Weird." He referred to me and Nick.
„Shut up." Nick snaps and his best friend just rolls his eyes.
We don't talk much during the ride. Finally after about 20 minutes we arrived at the beach.
All of us get out of the car and suddenly Nick pulls put a bag from the car trunk.
I furrow my eyebrows, „what is that?"
Oh my god I just realized I said something to Nick.

I wanted to avoid him! God I'm so fucking stupid.
„A bag." Wow, really? I'm not thaaat stupid,
I glare at him and he just smirks.
„There's some snacks in there."
I nod and walk up to my best friend.
„I'm so mad at you." I whisper in her ear and she giggles.
What's there to giggle?!
„What are you giggling about!"
She looks at me, smiling. „You can't stay mad at me forever!"
I roll my eyes and start smiling playfully.
„I guess you're right."
