Chapter Twenty: A Date (Part 1)

Author's POV

Hope was up in her room , packing up for her stuff to go to India, she was excited wanting to wear her ethnics clothes, it would be the first time she would go on a trip with her husband. She could not stop smiling, finally things were good between her and Adrian. He was Adrian again, the Adrian when they were dating. The Ardian who made her blush, who ade her feel so so good, who ,ade her heart flutter and eyes batter with that sweet and beautiful personality and face of his.

Two arms wraps around her waist as the familiar voice whispers in her ear, "Baby".

"Oh god!" Surprised, she puts her hand around herself.

He turns her around and in a calming voice he says, "It's me! It's Adrian, love".

" Uff... You scared me, Ad" He still has his arms wrapped around her, as he kisses her forehead. She clutches his shirt from the sides, and as her
heart which was beating real fast was now calming down.

" I am so sorry, baby. But I don't think I can make it to the wedding with you" This was a bummer for Hope, she looks at him with a pout and asks him the reason, he answers, "I have a really important meeting, so I need to go to the lab in London. It is something really big I am working on".

She withdraws her hand, and her shoulders fall down in disappointment. "But.. It will be our first trip. And how come it is so sudden? Were you not aware of this before?".

He puts his hands on her shoulders, as they look into each other's eyes. "Baby, I thought I was not needed there, but you know they just informed
me right now! Can you please forgive me for this one?" He asks with his puppy dog eyes. She looks at him, at first not trying to blush or smile, he looked so cute. He looked like a small kid who wanted candy.

"Okay! Okay! But promise me you will try your best to be there?" She crosses her arms and takes a step back from him.

He sighs and says, " Okay! I will try my best" He bends down and crashes his lips on hers, she was shocked, stumbling she grabs his neck and
before he knew she was also kissing him. They were making out on the couch now, Hope was on his lap as his hands were sliding up and down on her back and her hands were in his hair. Both a moment away from undressing themselves.

Hope was the first one to pull away, even though she did not want to pull away, she was breathing so hard. She sat beside him, and was taking
deep breaths.

Adrian looked at her smirking, he was so not out of breath, they were making out for almost 5 minutes non-stop.

"Oh! My Little Hope! I need to go now and please please wear the dress I will send you in a while? We are going for a date. I have no more details to share so I will leave to go to the office now! Be ready by 6, baby!" He got up and was out of the door, before she could even say anything.

She shrugs, and gets up with a sigh to pack the bags where she left.

Looking through the mirror, Hope was so sure he was gonna like how she was looking today. It was a baby pink short dress, which was off shoulder, it had blue orchids across it. Which looked so beautiful, with her hair up in a messy bun, and a small necklace which was a gift by him on their 2nd year anniversary.

"You look beautiful" She turns around to see her mother standing outside her room. Entering the room, Heer was so relieved to see her
daughter smiling, blushing and basically happy with her husband. It reminded her of how Kabir and her met, how he had made her fall in love with him.

"Mum" Hope smiles, grabbing her wedding ring off the table she turns around to look at her mum already walking towards her. Hope could not stop smiling. She wanted to tell her mother how happy she is and not to worry about her now! She was happily married with the love of her life. "Hope! My princess, you look so gorgeous! I am so happy to see you happy" Heer says with a bright smile on her face, a blush spreads on Hope's face. She takes her mothers in a big bear hug.

" You know, the day you were born your dad and I were so astonished, we had never seen such a beautiful baby girl ever before. Your dad was so
happy he cried for 20 minutes straight, and would not pick you up until I forced him too. He was so sacred because you were so small."

Putting her hand on the cheek of her daughter, Heer remembers the day she was pregnant with Hope, their miracle baby.

"Oh mum! I love you." Hope confesses, Heer smiles and says the same 'I love you too'

After talking to her mother, Hope was relieved and was calm. She was happy that her mother was happy.

A car was waiting for her outside their house, Adrian had asked her to take this car,because he did not want her to give the address, it was a huge surprise accordingly.

It took her 15 minutes to reach her destination, she gets out of the car as the chauffeur opens the door, she thanks him and he closes the door, before leaving the chauffeur whose name is Ted, gives her a note.

Hope opens the note which says 'follow the arrows' Hope did not know what he had planned, it was a property which was abandoned long ago. Hope knew this because she knew the owner of the property, which had a built in pond in it. She knew the arrows were pointing there, but she did not know what he was planning.

She breathed out and said, "You can do it!" It was hard for me, I had not forgotten everything he did to me, but I knew he needed me, we have
not talked about this because I need time, he needs time. I need time to process it, to think it all through.

Walking down with a smile, thanking god! To give her this happiness again, this Adrian again who now opens up to her.

She turns right but the pond is on the left? Am I going right? Walking through she finds this abandoned property sparkling with
lights and now it had a perfect garden, someone was clearly living here. She was enjoying her walk, it was a bit familiar as if she had dreamt about it.

"Baby!"

There she saw not even 2 metres away was her husband, he was dressed in a navy suit, his hair perfectly set. A wide smile on his face as he waves his wife down, she waves back. He walks towards her and puts his arm out, she links her arm in his.

"What is your plan?" She questioned with a beautiful beam.

He answers, "Nothing just a walk till our destination" a kiss on the back of her hand was all she needed. Praying this walk was long, as it was too stunning and she was with person she loved the most.
