Chapter Thirty: His fault

3 Days Later

Adrian POV

"I want her back, dad! Please!Please!I am sorry!I am sorry" I was begging to my father, I wanted my wife back. I know this was all my fault, it was all my mistake and she had to pay for it. He hung up the phone after saying, " I had warned you, Ad! I just want to save your mother."

My legs were giving up, I have no idea where she was? Where could Kairav have taken her? Hope's dad, Max, Arjun, Dylan, Arielle and Johan
and Klaus were all looking at me.

"Did he say something? Did he tell you where she could be?" Hope's Dad, Kabir asks me. I bit my inner cheek, trying not to cry. It was horrible, How would she be? I do not know. I do not trust Mason or Kairav in putting Hope's health or living conditions first.

Arielle sighs and says, "How the heck can Mason bhai do this to us?To Hope?"

"Don't blame him, he must have a been manipulated and I trust him to protect his little sister from that f**ker" Kabir, looks at me as he continues, "if someone would have told us before than this would have happened, Adrian, I thought you could protect my daughter but you are nothing but a problem to her. After we find her, I need you to get off her life quietly." I looked at the ground not knowing what I should do? He was right, I should just have had let her go.

"Shut up, Kabir. Right now, we need to find Hope and that is what is important! We can take care of this kid after all this is over" Johan says, as he glances at me. I gulped, all of a sudden my phone rang. I looked down at it before looking up at Kabir and announcing, "It is Kairav" and then
picking the call up.

"Hello!" I said as I put the phone on speaker.
"Oh my dear! Adrian! I am having so much fun with your little wife here" he laughs as my blood boils and I yell, "Just... don't... don't f**king
do anything to her"

He laughs again and says, " Ah... ah easy boy, I hope you would not want your wife to suffer for your actions. Now, come on pass the phone to my big brother"

I clench my jaw as Kabir takes phone from me, "Hello"

"Hello, my dear big brother! You know what I want, give me your wife and take your daughter. I will give you 3 days, now you decide" As the phone hangs up really quick.

Kabir throws the phone across the room and yells, "F**ker" He pulls his hair and looks at me with a death glare.

"I ... I will bring her back! Don't worry, I will do anything for her. I am so sorry, I am sorry." I said as I linked my hands together. I was
determined to do anything for her.

Author's POV

Hope was in and out of consciousness as she was drugged every time she opened her eyes. She was fed once a day with a slice of bread and
gulped it down with water. It made her feel week, her health was getting worse. She just wanted to go home to Adrian and her family, she knew if she needs her mother to be safe then she has to survive somehow.

Mason was of no help, he was the stern and cold hearted right hand man of Kairav, Hope had many allergies, and Mason knew that, she had
allergy of dirt, dust and much more where there was extent of her getting all choked up and not being able to breath.

Mason looked down at her sister, she was shivering, she had no blanket, the basement was cold and was very isolated. His heart was
breaking as he looked at his little sister. He had to go through the plan that his biological father had prepared. He was doing something that he thought was wrong but he had to go through this as he had taken millions of dollars out from the company for Kairav, he did not knew that he was manipulated by Kairav in doing what he was not taught to.

She coughs up vigorously in her sleep, "She needs her medicine"

Mason thinks as he looks down at her sister, as Ashley, the nurse checks her.

"Sir, she will need some pills and some real food. Otherwise her health will deteriorate." She states as she pushed out the injection of the
concoction some drugs inside his sister's arm.

"I will talk to dad" Mason says, as he gets out of the room and walks through the dark hallway of the basement, he walks up the stairs where he
opens the brown door which is barely hanging on. He makes his way to the room where his father should be, his study.

He reaches the big white door, and knocks the door twice as Kairav says, "Open"

Opening the door, he sees the scene of a woman sitting on his father's lap as he looks through the papers in his hand. Kairav had taken up some deals with local gangs to give in supplies of weapons. He was quite famous here in India, where he could have his way with anything.
"Dad! I need some medicine for Hope! She is ill" Mason states. Kairav taps the woman on his thigh as she gets up and goes out of the door from which Mason came through.

"Sit son" Mason does, he is ordered too.
"You know what they did to your father right? I wanted to be in your life but that Kabir, he took you and Max away from me. I love you, you should know that" Kairav emotionally blackmails his son, Mason leans in and says, "Yes dad, but right now my little sister could die and I can not do that. She practically like my daughter Dad, we have brought her up"

"Okay! Okay! Go get her what she needs. But if Kabir does not obey, we have to take your little sister out of the picture. I am lenient to her justbecause of you. Otherwise, she would have been dead, son" Kairav warns, as he shows respect to his son's wish. 'If it weren't for this idiot Mason, he could never have kidnapped Kabir's prized possession. Adrian was a bad nut for me, I did so much to get him into the family but at last Adrian betrayed me, his father and mother', Kairav thinks to himself.

He smirks as his son leaves, there was something big coming up for them. Something that, nor Adrian, Mason or Kabir would ever be able to handle. It was really sinister plan that Kairav had build up, one that could destroy everyone.
