"I thought I clearly said to not involve yourself with Class E anymore, Yuzuha-san."
I bowed in apology and stood up straight. Stares from everyone in the class made me feel rather nervous, but I had bigger issues to settle. Finally, I got my tongue.
"I know I should have followed your advice Koro-sensei, and that you were trying to protect me from getting mistreated by my classmates for interacting with Class E. However, that isn't necessary anymore! I really, really want to be with Class E, no one else has ever been so friendly to me before Class E! Let those geniuses talk or do whatever they want to me, I don't want to be separated from you guys ever again!"
I bowed once more. Maybe I could have said something better, but I was really desperate. Without Ayaka I now felt that everyone else in the main school building was an enemy. It wouldn't feel safe if I didn't have any allies to trust, which was why I turned towards Class E. They felt like the right people to put my trust in. Out of nowhere, something soft landed on my head. I looked up to see Koro-sensei patting my head.
"Nufufu~ I already expected this sort of reaction coming from you beforehand, so there isn't any point trying to stop you now. I'll permit you entering Class E whenever you wish."
I brightened up and actually hugged the octopus teacher, who cried out in surprise.
"Thanks Koro-sensei!"
After I broke off from the hug, I was swarmed by all directions from my friends, who all shared the same happy face as I did.
"That's great Yuzuha-chan! I really missed you!"
"Welcome back Ashiya-san!"
"Glad to have you around again Ashiya!"
The ice of loneliness which had built in my heart began to melt away once more. Truly, the only remedy for loneliness was being with the people you loved most.

"So that's why you want to visit Mikage-san's home."
I nodded and nervously played with my fingers.
"Yeah, I thought that perhaps there might be clues to why she said something like that. Does it... sound ridiculous?"
Koro-sensei gave me one of his infamous laughs and patted my back gently.
"Nufufufu! It does not at all, usually one's home reveals more of what that person might actually be. It's a good start for our search, way to go Yuzuha-san!"
I felt my confidence rising up as I smiled at Koro-sensei. Koro-sensei really was the perfect example of a teacher; kind, wise and dedicated to educating young students. Even I, a student of the main building, was being treated the same way as the rest of his students. It was a really pleasant feeling. However, the mood was interrupted by Okuda, a bespectacled girl with braids and full of uncertainty.
"Say Koro-sensei, are we still going to keep this a secret from the other teachers? About Yuzuha-san knowing the secret?"
There were other teachers in charge of Class E too? The thought didn't occur to me at all till she mentioned it. Karma suddenly spoke up as he propped his legs up onto his desk.
"Karasuma-sensei and Bitch-sensei? I'm pretty sure those two know already, they're just keeping an eye on Ashiya for the time-being."
"Nufufu, you are right Karma-kun. I already negotiated with them about it a long time ago and they said it was fine if I'm the one taking responsibility for Yuzuha-san. So rest assured, Yuzuha-san."
I heaved a sigh of relief. If that pair of assassin teachers came after me, I wouldn't have known what to do.
"Now then, Nakamura-san, Takebayashi-kun, Isogai-kun, Karma-kun and Yuzuha-san, let us head to Mikage-san's house at once!"

"Sensei..."
"Hold on a moment, I have to fix my disguise. There, now no one will ever know!"
"They're goddamn for SURE gonna find out KORO-SENSEI!"
The octopus wore a wig and plastic nose, looking comical as he sat in a wheelchair that was way out of proportions. I giggled at that get-up. He looked like he was bearing ten children in that wheelchair.
"Hora Yuzuha-san, hurry up and ring that bell!"
"Yes yes Koro-sensei~ ...pfft!"
I rang that door bell, but nobody answered. I looked back at the group behind me and tried ringing the bell again. Nobody answered.
"Hey Takebayashi-kun, are you sure you got the right house?"
"Yes! It says that this is the house! Why don't you try knocking the door?"
I did as I was asked, only to be surprised by the door opening by itself. The door wasn't locked in the first place, so we made up our minds to enter just like that. Once inside Koro-sensei removed his disguise and everyone explored the place.
"Woah, this house barely has anything in it."
"It's almost deserted."
Takebayashi adjusted his glasses and checked his phone. There was the AI Ritsu, who was already searching through data for us.
"According to the data I found, the only ones living here are Mikage Ayaka and Mikage Aoki, the younger brother. Their parents died due to a boating accident and the brother has disappeared since three years ago."
"Ayaka... so you were living alone all this time..."
I muttered that as I walked up the stairs. I headed for the room labelled Ayaka in pretty pink letters and opened the doorknob. I found myself in a pretty pink room and saw an assortment of stuff toys by the bed.
So Ayaka was an avid stuffed toy collector. Only did I realize that I barely knew anything about Ayaka at all, and yet I called her a friend. Pathetic. Seeing how her room had nothing that could be called a clue, I headed back downstairs. While we wordlessly searched about the house, Karma suddenly popped out from behind the couch.
"Oh, looks like I found a clue~
He wiggled a letter at us. The sender's name nor address was not written, but there was something inside it. I emptied out the letter and stared at the slip of paper in my hand. It was typed neatly, but that wasn't the point.
" 'This is our final warning. Kill Ashiya Yuzuha immediately or you'll never see your dearest brother again.' "
That statement sent shivers down my spine. Koro-sensei took that letter and having read it already, he placed the letter calmly on the table. Even so, I could tell that Koro-sensei wasn't being himself. The temperature dropped and from behind I could see his figure shaking a little in fury.
"To take familial love and use it against them, this is beyond cruel. Truly, a scum of the earth!"
My knees chose that moment to give way and let me collapse onto the floor. Luckily, that snapped the octopus monster out of his anger and he turned towards us, as if nothing had happened.
"It appears that we have gotten ourselves into something really serious. This wasn't just some dangerous prank, someone is actually trying to kill Yuzuha-san and I do not know why."
"From here, it looks like Mikage Ayaka disobeyed orders and to shut her up, they quickly disposed of her right away."
"Oi Karma-kun choose your words carefully..."
I let myself be helped up by Isogai and sat on the couch. Everyone waited for my response, since I was the target of this unknown enemy. I took several deep breaths and calmed myself. If that letter's content was just as I had feared, that meant that Ayaka's death was not just some car accident. It was murder. After I managed to keep my mental state in check, I finally replied.
"I promise I will avenge Ayaka, so I will find the one who's pulling the strings."
"Once you do, what happens?"
With minimal blood lust, I replied calmly.
"I will assassinate him."
