Chapter Four - 'Missing'
(Mike)
"So I slammed my hand on the close button-" I pause for dramatic effect before continuing, "- And then I realized that it was just (your name) whistling, and she screamed and shouted at me to let her back in!"
Bonnie laughed, his nose and ears twitching. I chuckle as well, at my own story. We're in the Dining Area, sitting at a table right in the middle. Freddy and Drusilla are somewhere in the pizzeria, but I'm not exactly sure where. Foxy is still in his Cove, but (your name).. I'm not sure. I haven't seen her since she stormed past me earlier.
There's a pounding on the tiled flooring, and me and Bonnie look over to see Foxy running towards us. He skids to a stop, his eyes wild and looking flustered and panicky.
"What's wrong?" I ask, inclining my head to the side, questioningly.
"I can't find (your name)!" Foxy blurted. "She just stormed away, and now I have no idea where she is!"
I shake my head and Bonnie asks what happened. Foxy sighs and breathes in, before telling us.
"She kept asking me questions which I didn't know the answers to-" Foxy glances at Bonnie, sharing some sort of common knowledge. "- And she got really annoyed with me, shouted at me, and then this happened!"
At that moment, Freddy walked in, trailed by Drusilla. They look a little upset with each other; Freddy is awkwardly glancing at Drusilla, while Drusilla's eyes are tiny flickering flames.
When Freddy spots Foxy, he looks at each of us in turn. "What's going on here?" He asks.
"Foxy can't find (your name)." Bonnie says flatly.
"Have you looked everywhere?" Freddy panics. I've never seen him like it. "Everywhere? Every corner and crack? Maybe she went home? No. Kitchen? Chica might have seen her. No... she would have told us..."
I shrug. "Stop panicking, for God's sake." I groan. "She's a woman, she can take care of herself. She doesn't need us carrying her around the place."
Foxy and Freddy turn their gazes on me. I feel slightly scared. Foxy looks distraught, and Freddy is still panicky. Bonnie is just sitting back, as if enjoying the show. When I stare at Drusilla, I wish I had a time machine. I swear I can see smoke coming from her ears.
"She doesn't know the way around here!" Drusilla shoots at me. "She could get lost, or Gold might have done something..."
"I could ask Chica." Bonnie pipes up. "She's probably seen (your name) at least once tonight."
Freddy nods. "Good idea." He turns to Drusilla. "We'll go check the restrooms and backstage area."
I wince at the angry look Drusilla shoots at Freddy, who doesn't seem to notice. I wonder what happened between them.
As they turn and head towards the restrooms, I face Foxy, whose ears are twitching. He looks as if he may explode or pass out with his worrying. I'm pretty sure that his girlfriend is fine. God, I've been stuck with her for hours on end each night. And she makes it out alive each night, doesn't she?
"Let's check the office and storage closet." I decide. Foxy nods enthusiastically and we head towards the office.
