Sorry for not updating in ages! I've been busy with school and general home life, but now that school is out for the summer, I can update more frequently!
CHAPTER TWELVE - 'GOLD'S HIDEOUT PLAN'
You and Mike had left the pizzeria for the afternoon to get some much needed sleep. You slept for a total of three hours and then kept yourself wired to coffee and Oreo's for the rest of the afternoon. Your mother raised her eyebrows when she came home from work and found you drinking your fourteenth cup of coffee and eating your fourth packet of Oreo's.
You sat down for dinner, but you couldn't eat out of anxiety and decided to excuse yourself. You waited in your bedroom, staring out of the window, until about 8, when you made the decision to drive to Freddy Fazbear's early.
Arriving at Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria, you forced yourself to walk towards the door. Pausing at the entrance to the pizzeria, you lay a hand on the glass, close your eyes, and then heave it open. As always, you are greeted by the smell of pizza and the hushed murmurs of adults that ate late.
Sat in the secluded spot that you had been seated in earlier, was Mike, who was tapping his phone angrily. You trot towards him and then slide into the seat opposite the man.
"What's up with the phone?" You nod towards it, and Mike swears before throwing you a confused look which shows he hadn't listened to you. "Why are you swearing at the phone?"
Mike sighs and sets it down on the table. "This pizzeria has bad wireless connection."
You murmur in agreement and then lean forward. "Do you have any idea where Gold's den may be? I mean, it needs to be out of view, where no one would find him."
"I have an idea." Mike says and yawns. "I think that... well, let me put it this way. There's a whole othe level beneath us. Gold knew about the basement, which means that he's gone there before. So his den must be near the basement."
"I never thought I'd say this," You laugh. "But that's actually quite smart!"
Mike scowls. "So you're saying that I'm not smart? Well, you're not wrong. We're both stupid and idiots for even wanting to work the night shift!"
You nod in agreement and then frown. "So, we're going back to the basement? What are we going to tell Freddy?"
Mike shakes his head. "We're not going to tell Freddy. He's strangle us if he found out. I can only think of one animatronic who could keep this a secret..."
"Who?" You ask, interested.
"You'll have to agree to this, obviously." Mike stated and then began. "I think we should tell Bonnie because he doesn't really have a side in all of this. He'll be able to keep a secret and he hates Gold less then Foxy or Freddy."
"True." You agree. "So, shall we tell him?"
"I'll distract Freddy after the show." Mike decides. "You can pull Bonnie aside and tell him our plan, got it?"
"Got it."

You look around as you head towards the purple bunny. His back is to you as he chats with Chica, whose grinning crazily. Well, doesn't she always?
Mike has managed to catch Freddy's attention and is having a heated conversation with the lead singer of the band. Now you had to just pull Bonnie aside and explain everything to him.
"Bonnie!" You hiss, and his ear twitches. "Bonnie, I need to talk to you alone, please!"
Bonnie says goodbye to Chica and then turns to face you, arms crossed. "What is this all about? What is so important that you had to butt into our conversation?"
"I'm sorry, okay?" You straighten up and compose yourself. "It's about the puppet-"
"Marionette." Bonnie corrects you and then gestures with his hand. "Go on."
"Me and Mike need to find Gold." You explain as carefully as possible. "Do you think that you can help us? All you need to do is make up some lie about us being ill or something and make sure that Freddy doesn't suspect anything."
Bonnie stares at the floor in deep thought. "I don't like keeping secrets, (your name)." The bunny sighs. "But I don't like getting people in trouble, either. One time, okay? That's it."
"Thank you, Bon!" You throw your arms around him and then pull away. "And, whatever you do, do not tell Foxy. He'd go mad."
"Deal." Bonnie grins, which turns into a frown. "Please don't do anything stupid. Gold has a lot of equipment and machines, and it's dangerous down there. No heroics today."
"No heroics." You promise and smile. "Thank you again, Bonnie. This means a lot, you know."
"Yeah, yeah." He waves you away. "Foxy is going to have my head placed on a pole."
"Yep." You giggle and make your way to Mike, before pulling him away.
