CHAPTER SIXTEEN - 'Forgive But Never Forget'
"If I could change one thing." Mike declared as you and him sat in the office. "I would have killed Vincent myself. Hm... or maybe stop Marionette from escaping..."
"Can we not talk about this?" You mumble, turning the tablet over in your hands. "I just want to get through one night without any drama."
"So... no psycho night guards?" Mike suggests. "Killer animatronics? Pizza obsessed chickens? Creepy basements? Or, oh I know, that weird, freaky cupcake."
You turn and poke the cupcake. "Yeah, no weird cupcakes." You snort. "I swear it has eyes or something."
"Are they real?" Mike questions, jumping up and making to poke the eyes.
"Ew, don't touch them!" You shriek, slapping his hands away. "If they are real, they'd be all gooey and then, who knows what?"
"Good point." Mike yawns and retreats to his chair. "One night without any crazy robots might actually be nice..."

"Pizza!" Chica squawks, tugging at Drusilla's arm. "Can we make some pizza?"
"Isn't Mike available?" Drusilla suggests, blinking rapidly. "I mean, he likes helping you make pizza right? Why don't you go find him?"
"He's sleeping." Chica begins tugging Drusilla towards the kitchen. "And anyway, I know he doesn't like making pizza with me. I don't mind."
Drusilla stopped short. "If you don't mind, I do!" She places her hands on her hips. "Now let's make some pizza! Girl power, right?"
A grin spreads on Chica's face. "Right!" She claps her hands and they head for the kitchens. "I seriously don't mind, though. He's always really boring and complains too much."
"Totally." Drusilla laughs. "He's always complaining about working and how much conditioner I use! I mean, I'm a girl. Long hair equals lots of conditioner."
"Yeah! I mean...um.." Chica trails off, head tilted to the side, looking somewhere behind Drusilla.
"What?" Drusilla begins to turn, but Chica shakes her head. "Chica, what did you see? Tell me! If you- okay, let's find Freddy."

It was dark. Like always. And lonely. Foxy was used to it and never used to mind. After a few months, being locked in his cove became bearable. But when you know that the person you love is out there, constantly being endangered, it's hard to live with.
Carrying these facts with him on a daily basis, the visit from Gold was uncalled for. Foxy hadn't been alone with Gold since... well, since the day that Gold convinced him that he wasn't going to hurt (your name), but quickly went back on his word.
At first, when the golden bear appeared in the cove, Foxy had leapt to his feet, growling and advancing slowly. He very well knew that Gold had been with (your name) both nights that she had gone missing.
"Woah down there, tiger." Gold smirked. "Nah, it's fox isn't it?"
"What do you want?" Foxy spat angrily. "If you even think of bribing me into doing your dirty work again, I swear I will rip your head off-"
"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry." Silence followed Gold's words, the sentence hanging in the air. Foxy didn't know whether to laugh, punch the arrogant bear or kill him. He was tempted to do each of them.
"You're sorry? Gold. Sorry." Foxy snorted. "As if. You must be some sort of doppelganger. The Gold I know doesn't apologize."
"Sorry to burst you bubble, mate." Gold grinned. "But I am Gold and I am saying sorry."
"What for?" Now Foxy was in total disbelief.
"For doing whatever I did to compel Mike and (your name) to go to my lair." Gold shrugged. "If you don't want to believe me, then it's fine. Just remember this. Don't forget it. Because this could be the very last time that I ever say sorry."

When Drusilla dragged Bonnie towards the kitchen, he was in a pure state of shock. Drusilla had amazing strength, and it had taken him by surprise. The hallway was as it always was; flickering lights, posters flapping wildly and a coldness that sent shivers through your body.
"Here." Drusilla pulled him to a stop and let go, crossing her arms fearfully. "Chica saw this. We were going to get Freddy, but we couldn't find it so..."
"Do you know what this is?" Bonnie stepped forward to inspect the symbol on the wall.
"Nope." Drusilla tapped her foot on the floor. "That's why I found you, you idiot! To help me! If I had known what it was-"
"It's Marionette's symbol." Bonnie sighed. "He's going to kill the next human he finds."
Drusilla went silent. Neither said a word as they stared at the symbol, letting the words sink in. There on the wall, was an M drawn in red, with swirls of black over the top.
