Hannah stood frozen in fear as chaos erupted around her. The once peaceful streets were now filled with screams of anguish and desperation. The infected, their eyes bloodshot with a hunger for human flesh, tore through the crowd, biting others without remorse. Cars screeched and crashed, their alarms blaring, adding to the growing cacophony of terror. The sound of breaking glass echoed throughout the city as desperate people raided stores, their frantic cries vying for dominance among the chaos.

Panic filled the air, mingling with the scent of smoke and the distant wails of sirens. Infected beings lurched through the crowds, their grotesque appearance striking fear into the hearts of those unfortunate enough to cross their path.

Hannah, who'd been running for what felt like hours, wasn't sure where to go. Chaos seemed to be happening at every corner. But she couldn't just stay there, she needed a plan. She needed to find safety, to escape the horrors that lurked around every corner. But which way to turn? The streets that once felt so familiar now seemed treacherous.

Suddenly a loud siren caught her attention as she watched the ambulance speed by, desperately trying to push through the mess of people and cars cluttering the streets, only to end up in a ditch as infected followed after it, drawn to the sound of the siren still blaring.

"Help us!" someone yelled, not too far from the girl. Hannah watched as he navigated through the maze of wrecked cars, carrying a child in his arms while a woman followed him. Just as it seemed they'd made it out of the mess, the child suddenly sprung awake, latching on to the man as he screamed in agony, red spraying everywhere as the child pulled away from his neck. As the man fell forward the woman screamed at the sight, trying to run away, only to stumble to the ground and never get back up.

Hannah watched, frozen in her tracks at what she witnessed, until a hand reached out, grabbing the girl's arm before she had time to react. Suddenly, John, Riley's dad, emerged from the crowd and grabbed Hannah's arm, yanking her away from the horrifying scene. The three ran through the chaos, as John tried looking for safe haven. Hannah was still trying to process what happening, the adrenaline in her body being the only thing that kept her going.

Car alarms blared, and horns joined in the symphony of chaos, causing her senses to overload. The streets were in a state of deadlock, as drivers abandoned their cars in desperation, searching for salvation.

Sweat dripped down Hannah's forehead as she pushed on, her body fueled by a primal instinct to survive. She could hear the distant clamor of glass shattering and feel the heat of nearby fires growing stronger with each passing moment.

In a stroke of luck, John discovered a small shop on the brink of closing its doors. Turning to the girls, he pushed them through the entrance just as the store owner tried to protest. Ignoring the man's dismay, John forced himself inside, shutting the door behind him.

Hannah stumbled onto the ground, trying to catch her breath from all the running as Riley sat beside her, a similar expression on her face as she looked over at her dad.
