Wednesday's POV:

I was sleeping peacefully before a loud noise woke me up. Annoyed, I sit up and look around the room to see what caused that sound. Whoever disturbed my sleep will pay.

I noticed the window in the middle of the room was broken and the shards were all over the floor. I look over to Enid's bed to not see her sleeping in it. What the hell?

What time is it? I look over at my clock. It's only 11:27 pm. What would Enid be doing up this late?

I stand up and walk over to the door to find it unlocked. She must've left for something. Maybe Yoko or someone.

I turn back around to the broken glass and kneel next to it. Being aware of glass that is trying to cut me. There is no object, so whoever did it must've used a crowbar or something.

I slowly stand up, still looking at the pieces.
Who did this? And why?

Wait... It must be Ajax.

What the hell, I need to get Enid.

But before I can take action, a bag is pulled over my head.

Enid's POV:

I got hungry in the middle of the night so I went down to the cafeteria for a snack. Luckily, there was a bag of potato chips that wasn't touched.

I grabbed them and went back to the dorm, shoving chips into my mouth. I open the door slowly, being careful to not alert Wednesday. But as I turn around, the chips fall from my hands and spill all over the floor.

The window was smashed, and pieces of glass lay on the ground in front of it. What happened?

I turn to Wednesday, preparing to wake her up and ask 20 million questions, but she isn't there.

"Wednesday?" I call out, frantically looking around the room.

She's nowhere to be found. I ran down to Yoko's dorm and burst through the door, somehow unlocked. Tears stream down my face as I call out in the darkness.

"Yoko!" The light turns on in front of my eyes as I squint to get used to the light. Yoko sits up and Layla sits up next to her.

Whoops. No time for that now.

"It's Wednesday!" I choke out through tears.

Yoko is already next to my side. "What about Wednesday?" She asks, gently.

"S-she's... she's gone!" My voice cracks as more tears spill. "The... the window was broken and... and she wasn't t-there!" I talk fast through sobs.

"Shit." I hear Yoko say. My blurry vision picks up Yoko turning to Layla.

"We need help. We got to find Wednesday. Go get your brother. You guys search the school as me and Enid will drive to Jericho." Yoko says before grabbing my arm and racing out of the school.

"D-drive?" I stutter.

"I'm taking the principal's car." She says, still speed-walking and dragging me with her.

"H-how?" I ask.

She holds out keys in front of us. "Spare keys, don't ask."

We get to the car and she pulls into the ignition and we drive quickly to Jericho. The car must be going hundreds of miles per hour. I cling onto my seatbelt for dear life.

As we approach Jericho, we search every store and ask if they have seen Wednesday anywhere. Of course, we had to describe her since these idiots don't know who the Wednesday Addams is.

Yoko checks the woods as I continue searching Jericho. We soon meet back up, all tired out. "No sign of her." Yoko spits out.

I gasp, clutching my chest. I can barely breathe.

"Woah! Enid!" I hear Yoko shout as I fall into her arms. "Hey! Deep breaths! Now."

She says. I try to breathe, taking a careful breath every couple of seconds. It barely helps.

Wednesday's gone.

Wednesday's POV:

When I open my eyes, I lie on cold pavement.
I sit upwards, leaning on my hand that holds me up. It's pitch black. Where am I?

Suddenly, I see a light glow in the distance. I try to make it out, but it's too faint and small. It soon grows bigger. I can somewhat see it now.

A dark silhouette appears in the light. Who is that? Enid?

I watch as the figure walks closer and closer to me, becoming bigger and bigger by the second.

"Who are you?" I finally say. The person now stands tall in front of me.

I hear a click and then a series of lights go on. The last one hangs above me and it turns on. I can see the figure better now.

Tyler.

"Hello, Wednesday."
