"Yeah, I have talked to them... They agreed." Jungkook informed the father who gave a thankful nod to the officer. "I think we should go now, You and The k-kid looked very tired, you both need to rest." Jungkook said, he couldn't hide the desperation in his voice, Jimin felt weird thinking why the officer is willing to help him other than his task, but he shrugged off thinking maybe he is always kind-hearted to everyone. "Let's go, I will drop you at the location and I have to discuss somethings, as you don't have your identity card, maybe they will hesitate to keep you, so it will be helpful if I will be there." Jungkook said, the officer hissed under his breath, he knows he shouldn't be too much desperate or it will make Jimin curious. "I-I mean only if you want I can go with you."

Even though Jimin looked hesitant, it seems like now he can't deny the officer. "Umm... of course." Jimin agreed, thinking, going with the officer he can save the money, or he has to book a cab. Little did he ignored how his heart felt safe with the officer. Jimin turned towards Jungmin to woke his son up. "Jungmin baby, wake up we have to go."

The Officer's eyes sparkles, his heart thumped hearing Jimin's soft voice as he lightly shook Jungmin's body who started whining and blabbering in his sleep snuggling into Jimin's arms. The officer almost reached towards the boy to pick him up but stopped. He shouldn't act like this or it may awake Jimin's suspicion.

"Fut... P-Papa why?" Jungmin almost cried, Jimin gritted his teeth, praying to heavens that the officer didn't understand Jungmin's curse.

"Jungmin-"

"It's okay, I will take him." Jungkook can't help himself when he saw how the boy started thrashing in Jimin's arms to sleep properly, he rushed towards the crying boy and picked him up in his arms.

To say, Jungmin immediately stopped crying, and settled in Jungkook's arms instantly hiding his face in the officer's neck whose breathing fastened, tears welled up in his eyes, but before anyone can notice the officer pulled out his sunglasses from his pocket and wore it.

Shocked Jimin followed the officer, he didn't say anything nor understand the officer's behaviour towards him and Jungmin.

Does he know me? Out of nowhere the question popped up in his mind, but Jimin shook his head dismissing the question. He should have told me if he knows me right?

Jimin shrugged his shoulders, they reached towards the officer's Jeep, Jimin's eyes and mouth widened as he looked at the fancy Jeep he has seen only in the movies, Jungkook almost pushed him inside and placed Jungmin on his lap, the officer himself jumped inside and started driving.

Soon they reached, Jungkook again took Jungmin in his arms and Jimin followed him from behind in the elevator, Jimin is feeling so many emotions that he hasn't felt in a long time, everything is new to him but why does it feel so familiar?
