In the early morning Jungkook came back from his night duty and was about to get in his house that's when his eyes landed on the smaller figure sitting hugging his knees, at the Taehyung's house entrance, the officer's heart thumped as he walked towards the boy and crouched down in front of him.

Jungkook felt his throat getting dry as he cleared his throat to get the small boy's attention. "Jungmin-ahh." He called carefully.

Hearing Jungkook's soft voice Jungmin lifted his head up, his doe eyes filled with tears, red and runny nose, red lips, maybe because he was biting them. Jungkook's heart clenched as he just wanted to take the boy in his arms to comfort him. He hesitantly wiped Jungmin's cheeks who sniffles looking at the officer with wet, puffy eyes. Many negative thoughts came in the officer's mind, thinking what would have happened to make the boy cry like this.

"Hey, little one what happened, who dares to hurt my little pumpkin, huh?" The officer asked in a soft voice.

Jungmin's stared at the Officer a little longer making the taller man nervous, as he gulps audibly. The smaller's lips woobled. "P-Papa..." Jungmin burst into tears, The officer's heart broke as he carefully extended his arms, without hesitation Jungmin crawls towards him latching himself to the taller. "I don't wanna go..." The small boy cried hugging Jungkook.

The officer frowned as he held the smaller boy in his strong arms. "Shh... it's okay little one, calm down." Jungkook said as he stopped himself from panicking, he stroked the smaller's back to calm him down and somehow it works, Jungmin stopped crying, just sniffling. "Should we talk about what's in little head of yours, hmm?" Jungkook asked standing up with his son in his arms, he thought about taking Jungmin to his house but Jimin might freaked out not seeing Jungmin, so he opened Taehyung's house door and after getting inside he locked it.

The living room is lit up with dim lights, Jungkook makes his way towards the sofa with Jungmin and sits down with Jungmin still attached to him.

Seeing Jungmin silent, and nervously playing with his fingers, he smiled.

He is just like Jimin when he gets nervous.

Jungkook unconsciously pecked the smaller's nose, The boy looked at Jungkook with his big doe eyes making Jungkook gulps Nth time.

Jungmin bit his lips. "Umm... Papa, saying that I have to go school... I don't wanna go." Jungmin wishpers, his lips woobled again as he talked, tears welled up in his eyes.

Jungkook bit his lips to control his smile. "Why?"

Like father like son!

Jungmin pouted. "Fut... I just don't wanna."

Jungkook frowned, not understanding the first word, but the officer just shrugged. "Any specific reason?" Jungkook squinted his eyes as he asked.

Little Jungmin shook his head, as he wiped his nose in his long sleeves making Jungkook frown, who immediately grabbed some tissues near the table and wiped Jungmin's nose and tears throwing the used tissues near trash can.

"But, it's important... umm, Don't you love your Papa?" Jungkook asked as he saw Jungmin's expressions softened, the boy eagerly nodded his head. "Then you should do what he says, he loves you and wants the best for you, doesn't he?" Jungkook said reading Jungmin's expressions, not wanting to offend him.

The boy nodded his head, still the thought of going to school didn't sit within him well. "But, I don't wanna." He lazily placed his head in Jungkook's neck whose heartbeat fastened.

The officer gulped, his mind stopped working, he just nodded his head.
