Reid POV:

Walking into the criminal investigation division of Orange County I walk straight into the Sheriff's office without being stopped by police officers Instead they nod with the quiet 'detective' slipping from their lips

Detective is more of a professional term I prefer Ghost.

When Cole asked if I was a hit man I agreed but he doesn't understand the seriousness of it. I have protection from every single police force in this country in exchange I help them find their more difficult criminals or get rid of any personal or threat to the country sometimes I even work alongside national security and the FBI or I just take any jobs too higher up for any hired hit man or assassin to fulfill

Since this is a case for the state police I decided to make my presence known at the Sheriffs office

Reaching the door I walk in without having to knock. The Sherrif looks up in shock the sound of a girl moaning and calling him 'sheriff daddy' follows right after

"Ah shit Cherry stop baby girl Daddy has some work to do," he says sitting up straight. He gulps and then turns to look at the screen

"Okay Daddy don't take too-" she says but he cuts her off by pressing a key on his keyboard

"Uhm Detective," he says and then clears his throat "H-how can I help you," he says trying to get into his professional mode. Rolling my eyes I shut the door and lean on it

"Judge Martha was killed and then a day later her body went missing," I say and then he starts nodding

"Ah yes you see we at the department don't know what happened or who the perpetrator is," he says his left eye twitching

"Kurt" I start to say but he cuts me off

"It's Sherrif Kurt," he says and I can't help but grin

"A little bird told me that this case could be your last case," I say and he scowls

"I don't know where you heard that from but your source is wrong," he says leaning back into his chair and looking all smug as if he's the one in charge

"Perhaps but then again another bird told me that your team was the one looking after the courtroom that day and that you were also there," I say looking around his office. My eyes land on a picture frame of his wife and kids. Shaking my head in disappointment I pick it up anyway

"I don't really reca-"

"Beautiful family but it's a quite shame," I say frowning and then putting the frame back down

"What is" he says sounding cautious his chair squeaking with whatever movement his doing. Something tells me his digging for his gun taped under his desk If so then that's a bigger shame because it's already tucked in the back of my jeans

"What the fuck where's my gun" he sputters and then I smile pulling the gun out. Outstretching my hand I take out the magazine and then empty the bullets

"You see Kurt," I say dropping the gun for later when he crawls onto the floor and tries piecing the gun together

"We both know you saw the shooter's face and let him go and then somehow Judge Martha's body went missing. I just find it quite odd don't you" I say and he starts fuming but he tries to act calm

"I don't know what you want me to say because like I said we at the department don't know," he says looking at me and then around the room trying to figure out how he can diffuse the situation

"Your car was the first car that left the courthouse parking lot that day whilst you took the sheriff's car and then last night your car was found going in and out the morgue at 10 pm," I say staring him down. I start to see slight panic in his eyes but his demeanor is hiding it well
