Aki

"You sent ninjas after my babies"!? "It's your fault for telling them about the mission in the first place. You know I didn't want them going on it". "They wanted to do the right thing unlike you". "She was in our territory, it's her own fault".

"She was playing with Aki". "She has no business being anywhere near our daughter. She'll corrupt her". "How!? The Senju we're the ones that broke the peace treaty first, not the Uchiha".

"Funny how Hashirama slashed Madara's eye". "You know just as well as I do that that was an accident not only that but that happened after you broke your promise to Tajima. Hashirama and Madara we're still friends until that point".

"Uchiha and Senju can't be friends with each other. That's just the way things are". "I don't recognize you anymore. Your not the Butusama I married".

I hid as I watched mom storm out of dads office looking very upset. I know dad was against Aniki and Nii San going on the mission but I had no idea what they meant by a peace treaty. I ran after her trying my best to catch up. "Mom wait"! She stopped at the back door and turned to me smiling.

"Yes, sweetheart"? "I overheard you and daddy talking. What happened with the peace treaty? Why did Grandpa break it"? She gave me a sad look. "I'm not supposed to tell you, your dads made it clear he doesn't want you training but".

"But"?

"Come with me dear". She headed upstairs to her room and I followed behind her. Once there she closed the door and put a talisman on it. "That's to make sure no one overhears us". She said picking me up and placing me on the bed. "You can still use your powers"? "It's called ninjutsu and yes. I secretly train when your fathers not looking".

"Oh".

"Mhm, but to answer your question Grandpa Ichiro broke the peace treaty simply because he thought Kenji, Tajima's father was becoming too strong and couldn't stand being second to anyone. Of course, he never talked to Kenji about any of this and just ended up doing what he wanted.

Your fathers just like him. He and Tajima used to be friends but your grandfather put a stop to all of that. He's also the reason the Senju don't have any kunoichi". "That's not fair! Ryuko's a kunoichi"! "I know and so will you. Hashi unlocked your chakra points which means I can secretly train you now. You'll catch up to your friend in no time". I smiled as she ruffled my hair.

Izuna

Both my arms were behind my head and my right leg over my left knee as I laid on my sleeping bag. Madara came in but I didn't move or look up.

"What happened between the two of you"? He asked as he laid down on his stomach. "We were attacked and he helped me fight off members of his clan". "The same with me and Hashirama".

"Tobirama said he didn't know they were coming". "I believe them. Despite injuring us Tobirama and Hashirama aren't the type of people to lie. Hashirama's terrible at it in fact".

"Why did you pick him over me"? "It's not like that Izuna. It just felt like the right thing to do. Besides your better at fishing than I am". I got up, pushed my sleeping bag closer to him, got in, and nuzzled close. He wrapped his arms around me immediately.

"I'm scared aniki". I whispered. "No ones going to take me from you. Ryuko's going to be fine, now try to get some sleep". "Not just her, Tobirama as well, old feelings want to come back up". I whispered.

Hashirama

Inside flashback

The sun was shining down on me as I ran happily. Today was one of the rare days Madara and I had to do whatever we wanted. He chased after me as I pretended to try and get away from him. The air was filled with our cheerful laughter as we allowed the stress from our fathers to fade away until tomorrow morning.

While running I forgot to pay attention and ended up falling off the cliff and into the river. "Hashi"! Madara tried to reach out to me but our fingers barely grazed each other.

His scared expression was the last thing I saw before being engulfed in water. I didn't have time to hold my breath before water filled my lungs. I composed myself and did my best to swim to shore but it was hard. The water was making it hard to breathe which in return made it hard to move.

I did my best to push myself forward but my muscles wouldn't obey me. I tried spitting out some water but more just took its place. The next thing I knew a pair of arms were wrapping themselves around me and held me close as we made our way back to the surface.

I spit out the water immediately and heaved as I tried to catch my breath. "You're ok, don't worry". It was Madara. He pulled my shirt off and gently rubbed my back while simultaneously towel-drying my hair.

"You baka. Watch where you going next time". I smiled. "Now why would I do that when I know you'll always be there for me"? He rolled his eyes. "You're so troublesome". "Yet and still you remain to be my best friend". He playfully hit me causing me to laugh.

End of flashback

I want things to be like that again. I want us to be able to laugh without a care in the world and just be happy. Don't you miss it? Don't you miss how easy things were between us? Well, San Long?

I thought to myself as the morning sun shined down on me. After an hour I had told Tobi to go into our tent and get some sleep. He was reluctant at first but eventually did as I asked. I never made a move to go wake Madara. I wanted him to sleep as much as he could, he needed his rest more than I did. Him and Izuna.

"Morning". Madara spoke as he emerged from his and Izuna's tent. "Morning, I made a quick breakfast for the three of you". I averted my eyes up as I heard him walk over to me. "What's up"? "Are you afraid of me Hashirama"?

"Why would you ask me something like that"? "You woke Izuna up instead of me. If it's about yesterday I'm sorry, I'm just a bit on edge". "I know you are but that's not why I did it and I'm not afraid of you. What's more you and Izuna both slept through the night?

"Wait. Huh"?

"I took over and stayed up the rest of the night". "Hashirama". "I'm fine, I'll still be able to be of use to you. One sleepless night won't affect me". "If your sure". "I am". 

"Morning". Both Izuna and Tobirama said coming out of the tents.  "Eat fast, we need to head out soon". They both nodded.

The four of us walked once again in silence. I thought there would be hostility from Madara and Izuna but there wasn't. They still walked ahead of us but they were a little more relaxed now.

I guess he did regret what he said yesterday

My good feeling didn't last long, however. I could hear a swosh sound flying towards us and the next thing I knew Madara was holding a kuni knife in his hand. "Not again". I sighed.

"Lord Hashirama, Lord Tobirama. I'm here to rescue you both". "We don't need rescuing Robert. Wood style, tree vine". A vine emerged from the branch he was on and was about to wrap around his foot but he quickly jumped in the air.

The four of us readied ourselves but the next thing Tobirama and I knew Madara and Izuna had both been blinded after activating their mangekyou. Clouds of smoke emerged in front of them both catching them off guard and crippling them.

"Water style, misty fog"! Tobirama used the water in the air to create a fog barrier around us but it was no use. As soon as the fog surrounded us an explosion went off.
