Traveling Alone Together Part 2

I felt extremely hot as I laid under the covers. Dad and mom said I would be having a visitor soon and to just be patient. I hoped it was my brothers coming to tell me they were finally home. I miss them. Daddy and momma said not to worry too much but I couldn't help it.

I would hate for them to get hurt because of me. If I had been more aware of my surroundings then none of this would've happened. I just hope Aki's not blaming herself. I know she'd never do anything to hurt me.

"Ryu". My older brother Ren called out.

"Yeah, Ren Nii"?

"Your visitors here, if the two of you need anything just call ok". "Ok Nii San". "I'll bring you some tea later".

So far the herbal tea my mom had been making for me is the only thing that helps with the pain. It isn't by much and I'm still completely sick but at least it's something.

I was lying with my eyes closed but opened them right away when I felt her chakra and watched her come in and slide the door closed.

"Aki". I gave a small smile.

"Hey bestie". She came sit on my bed. "You look like crap". "Shut up". We smiled. "How did you get my dad to agree to this"? "He's a lot more reasonable to deal with once he's calmed down unlike my dad and I kinda sorta made a deal with him".

She held out her hand and I watched amazed as a small bubble appeared out of her hand and turned into a sphere of ice a few seconds later".

"Your learning ninjutsu? That's amazing". "Mhm, my mom's been training me in secret and I've been training in secret without her knowing so I can catch up to you". "We're eight, I started when I was two". "My point exactly"! She playfully nudged me.

"There's something else I know how to do as well". She placed her hand on me and I sighed a breath of relief. "I'm not on my aniki's level of medical ninjutsu yet but this should hopefully relieve some of the pain until tomorrow".

"Thanks, bestie". "No problem"! She gave me a closed eye smile.

I was able to spend two hours alone with Ryu until she eventually fell asleep on me. I gave my thanks to her parents and now was on my way to see my father. I was going to force him to let me in on what he was doing if it was the last thing I did. Ryuko was worth it.

I let my mom know I was home then walked out to the back porch and across the lillypond to where the meeting room was.

"I'm sorry Lady Aki but your father is very busy at the moment, he can't play with you". One of the guards said. I looked at him before covering his body in water then turning the water to ice with just a few hand signs. I made sure to leave his head uncovered so he could breathe.

I looked at the second guard and watched as his body shook in fear before sliding the door open for me. "Y your daughters here to see you, sir".

"Go find your mother, Aki, I'm busy at the moment". He said looking down at his papers. "Water style, water missile". Using the air around me and the chakra in me I made multiple water missiles in the air that turned to ice after a few more hand signs.

I looked at him unbothered as I saw utter shock fill his eyes. "I'm not my mother. You will allow me to become a kunoichi and you will let me in on your plans just like my older brothers". My cousin Toka was in the room as well smiling.
