How Do You Feel About Them

Madara

I woke up the next morning to Hashi sitting on the side of my bed with his head down. I didn't know what was going on with him but I could tell there was something going on with him that he didn't know how to talk about.

"Hashi"? 

"I'm afraid for us". He whispered.

I sat up. "What do you mean? What happened yesterday"? "Promise me you won't get mad". "I promise, please just talk to me. I'm worried about you".

"Since the mission ended I keep finding the need to be close to you. I'm scared that if I'm not that something bad will happen but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that"?

I went and sat beside him. He placed his head on my shoulder.

"My fathers putting Tobirama and I both into arranged marriages. I met my so-called fiance and went off on her. I basically told her I hated the kind of woman she was and that I wanted nothing to do with her. I usually don't act that way towards women it just felt kike she was trying to take me away from you. Like she wanted to control my life just like my father".

"I understand your feelings and you have every right to feel that way considering the situation and the way you were raised but what did she say in return"? "..............I didn't give her much of an option".

I wrapped my arm around him.

"What clan"?

"Uzumaki. Was I right to do that Madara? Was I right to try and protect us? Is there an us to protect"?

"Hashirama I was an idiot to ever doubt you. I'm sorry for causing you so much pain and I promise I'll do everything I can to make it up to you........... The day of the incident was the day I was finally going to confess my feelings to you.

I had planned on sneaking over to your house and taking you to Nakano River where the fireflies were dancing and tell you but I never got the chance until now, so yes, there is an us that I want to protect but I do believe that you and this woman should have a proper talk".

"I want you there".

"Hashi".

"I mean it. I don't know what her intentions are".

"Alright but in the meantime let me put your mind at ease". I reached into my dresser drawer and took out the clan necklace I made for him. "Madara"! "Lift up your hair". He did as told and smiled as I put it around his neck. "Turn it over". He did and I watched as tears filled his eyes.

"I love it". He hugged me tight. "Lord Madara, your father wishes to see you and Lord Hashirama". Mira called out. "We're coming".

I wasn't surprised at all to see Tobirama and Izuna we're also called to the meeting. When we arrived I took my seat with Hashirama on my right. Izuna sat beside me with Tobirama on his right.

"Thank you all for coming so quickly. I would like to personally thank you Hashirama and Tobirama for taking care of my boys while you all were gone, their mother and I are both grateful". Both Senju brothers nodded their heads.

"As for why I called you, I talked to my sons when they came back and it's been brought to my attention that they both are fond of you. I know of the predicament you're currently in with your father but I was hoping to hear what the two of you have to say about my boys".

"There's nothing I wouldn't do for Madara, he means the world to me and the two of us have been through so much together as kids. He's been there for me and I him. I will always go against my father if it means I can protect him. I'm so thankful I had the ability to help your daughter. She's innocent and didn't deserve to be attacked".

"I feel the same way about Izuna. My childhood was anything but good but I always had Izuna to cheer me up. To me, he's a light in the darkness that always leads me home. I feel safe when I'm around him and genuinely loved. I hate the fact that I hurt him but he's forgiven me for it and if he lets me I would love to spend the rest of my life by his side".

He was silent for a while.

"You both seem sincere".

"We are". They said in unison.

"I'll leave the decision up to my sons then, rather they choose to marry you or not will be their decision". He smiled. "Thank you, father". Izuna and I bowed.
