HANNI POV
What are you hiding from us Kim Minji?
I say to myself as I see her exit the school with Yunjin. Those two are stuck together. It's none of my business who Minji hangs out with but she's leaving no time for us. It kinda makes me sad. If I go into the cafeteria Danielle and Haerin are all over each other and Hyein is in her own world. I have nobody to talk to. But Minji and I never really spoke to each other in the first place. Yes the five of us were close but that's only because I was already friends with the other three and so was Minji. We knew each other but never spoke until last year.
The thing is, we shouldn't even be awkward. There's like some invisible wall just separating us for some reason. I can get along with anyone and make friends with the newest kid in school but I can't seem to speak to my friend.
There were days when I left the girls at lunch to stay with Niki and his friends. He's so fun to be around, unintentionally funny, he's tall with neck-length black hair, and HIS VOICE his voice alone is enough. Whatever air they kept him in worked him wonders. He wasn't attractive at all in fifth grade.
I think I've got a crush on him. I hope and pray he's not like my ex Leehan. He was the best boyfriend you could ask for, we were doing so well until I decided to come out to him and say I was bisexual. He broke up with me right after. Homophobic people never cease to amaze me.
I wasn't very open with my gayness but there's a good reason for that. Haerin knows obviously, she's my best friend of course she does. But I can't just announce that information to anyone. Sometimes straight people think that if you're gay it automatically means that you like them. But surprisingly, we also have this thing called STANDARDS.
Since my plans to interrogate Minji were out of the door I walked towards the cafeteria thinking of how she kept Somi a secret. She might've been from Minji's old school. Mid-thought my phone buzzed.

see you!
Lunch was fun since the four of us did some brainstorming trying to figure out if Minji was gay or not. We all decided that she probably was and that she's going to be in the glass closet for a couple more years.
After breaking down her outfits, hobbies, aesthetics, voice, and basically, everything we knew about her it was hard not to believe she wasn't the slightest bit fruity. She could even walk down a street in Seoul and probably get cast by five agencies. I'm not sure how the conversation went to groups but we ended up choosing what we would wear if we were idols. We even chose outfits for Minji because she was missing out on the fun.
