Again

MINJI POV

Everyone seemed to have the same idea as us because there were so many cars that drove in the same direction as us. I guess everyone at the concert felt like they wanted to embrace their inner alcoholic tonight. 

When we got into the bar it was dark and full of college students and middle aged men who were obviously trying to get laid. I had a weird feeling about the place but it doesn't matter. I'm here to drink and get wasted. 

We got a booth near the back of the bar and not even half an hour in I was greeted with a jumpscare. I wasn't paying attention and I didn't notice Yeji walked up to our table and started talking to Sullyoon and her friends. When I turned around both our eyes met and she stared at me in shock.

But Yeji couldn't say anything because two people walked up to our table. I immediately recognized one of the faces. She saw me and gave me a bright smile. I got up to greet her and smiled back. 

"MINJI!" she greeted 

"RYUJIN!" I yelled back and gave her a small hug

"Oh Minji, this is Karina"

She was around my height and looked like she came straight out of an anime. Karina seemed to know them well so I'm guessing she's friends with everyone here.

After a while of small talk. Karina got a text and told us that someone named Winter had just arrived. Ryujin asked if she could take me away for a moment and we left to get some drinks. 

"How have you been? Oh my god it's been a long while Minji"

"I'm doing fine Ryujin, thanks for asking" 

"What brings you back?"

"School, I got into SNU"

"Oh that's great, congrats!"

"Thanks!"

We made our way over to the bar trying to avoid all the couples to the best of my ability. I got scared when I saw a group of girls eyeing me as Ryujin walked towards the Bartender. I sat a safe distance away from them while I waited for Ryujin to order our drinks.

She came back not long after that with two glasses. I thanked her and took a sip, letting the alcohol warm my throat. 

"Are you still with-" I asked

"Yeah, we've been going strong"

"That's nice, you guys always looked good together"

"Minji...you know who also got into that school right?" she asked hesitantly 

"Yes, I know she'll be there"

"That doesn't bother you?"

"No, if anything it makes me happy because I get to see her again"

"Would you want to see her if she moved on?"

Is she trying to hint at something?

"Yeah, it doesn't matter to me. I just want to see her you know? I miss her and the others"
