DANIELLE POV
The three of us are here at the cafe waiting for Hanni. We've already ordered because she's taking too long. She said she would bring a friend, I wonder who it is. The bell over the door chimed and Hanni walked in with-MINJI?!? Since when did she come back???
They walked over to us and I jumped up to give Minji a hug. I missed my friend. To my surprise she hugged me back and Hyein jumped up to hug us.
I grabbed my girlfriend to join the hug and Haerin. This was such a weird experience.
Not long after Minji shook us off and sat down across from us with Hanni who was sitting the whole time.
They both gave off some weird vibe. Like the air was so thick yet they seemed almost normal.
Minji was bombarded with our questions as soon as she sat down.
"When did you get back?"
"How was Canada?"
"I missed you Minji"
"You basically ghosted us for a month"
"Why didn't you tell us?"
"How come I'm still on delivered?"
She seemed overwhelmed by the questions so Hanni answered for her.
"You guys, she just got here, let her settle down first," she said, smiling at Minji.
I saw Hanni grab her hand under the table and Minji seemed to relax.
WOAH SUSPICIOUS???
"Sorry guys, I'm sure Hanni explained everything. I just got here recently and I convinced Hanni to let me surprise you. Canada was fun, sorry for not answering your texts." she said and reached down to grab three bags.
She handed each of us one. "Merry Christmas," she said smiling.
"WAHHH UNNIE YOU'RE THE BEST!!" Hyein said, holding up some Harry Potter clothing.
"Yahhh thanks Minji!" Haerin said, holding something in her bag.
I looked in my bag and saw a swimsuit but not just any plain old swimsuit. These were one of the expensive ones that lasted years.
"Oh my god girl! I love you so much!" I said not trying to hide the joy on my face.
"What did you get Hanni?" Haerin asked Minji.
"Oh...uhm s-she got" Minji stuttered most likely thrown off guard by her question
"She got me a guitar," Hanni nonchalantly said, taking out her phone and showing us a picture. It looked a lot like Minji's. THAT'S SUSPICIOUS????
"Damn, we can definitely tell who your favorite is Minji" I said, causing her to go a bit red.
"N-no it's not that, she wanted to learn so I got her one" she quickly assured us.
The two got up and went to the restroom to wash their hands. Haerin gave me a knowing look and Hyein smirked.
"Should I push them together now?" she asked.
"No, let's see how this plays out first. But if Minji starts acting dumb again you have my permission" I said
