MINJI POV

Thursday

I didn't go to school today because I didn't sleep. My mother saw me walk upstairs and sent me back down to rest. She didn't have work today so she watched over me. I'm 16 and perfectly capable of taking care of myself but she insisted I stay home and take a break. My mom is really the best.

She woke me up around noon and told me we were having a girls day out. We've never done that before because I always refuse to do anything girly besides wear minimal makeup. But I agreed since she seemed thrilled at the idea.

We went to a hair salon and I got some layers as well as a trim. Then we went to some place where we got our faces massaged and our eyebrows done. Then to wrap up our girls day out we went shopping and my mom bought me some new shirts and new jeans.

(minji really went: new hair, new tee, new jeans, do you see?)

We came back home around 5 and my sister Minjung was so angry at my mom for not bringing her she refused to come out of her room. But my mom mentioned the new clothes she bought for her and my sister suddenly appeared in front of us smiling like the devil she is. I thanked my mom for the day and went down to shower.

"Hey unnie" I walked back into my room and this child was standing behind the door.

"AHHHHHH MINJUNG DON'T DO THAT!!" I scream at her.

"Why are you here? What do you want?" I ask because nothing good ever comes out of her visits.

(a/n: if u have siblings like this yk what i mean)

"When is Hanni unnie coming back?" my sister asks me. She asked a very difficult question. I don't know what the hell is going on with her right now so I really had no clue.

"I don't know." I answer, it's the truth and it sucks.

"Unnie, did you do something to piss her off? I know you're annoying but you should at least be nice to Hanni unnie"

"No, I would never do such a thing. Why do you even care?" I asked the girl because it wasn't like her to be interested in my life. The only thing she wants to do is wreak havoc.

"Because I like her"

"You've met her ONCE!" I said. It's true, ever since Hanni's sleepover she never came back to visit.

It's not even possible to like someone after meeting them once. But then again, this is Hanni Pham. Everyone loves her.

"But she always talks to me on the phone when she calls you. But it's been like a hundred years since she said hi to me".

That was true. Hanni would often call me after school so we could study. But the "studying" in question was just us talking for hours and after the call ends praying that we pass the test.

"What's so bad about that? It's not like she has to say hi and speak to you"

"She doesn't have to but she always does. So that means you did something. She's mad at you isn't she?" My sister was getting on my nerves. I already don't know what's going on and she's making it seem like I'm the problem.
