The day of the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff match had arrived. Cassie had left the boys dorm early the night before to make sure she was well rested for the game. (And to avoid Oliver scolding her for being tired)
While the weather was still good Cassie had decided to go for a run to clear her mind before the game. A choice she deeply regretted when she had to walk back to the castle soaking wet. She rushed back to her dorm, showering and putting her quidditch uniform on before making her way to the Great Hall.
She sent Cedric and Olivia a smile in greeting as she walked through the sea of red and yellow towards her team. Taking her usual seat between Fred and George she noticed everyone watching Oliver as he nervously paced up and down. " It's raining! It's our first game and it's raining." He ran his hands over his face.
"It'll be fine Ollie, It's only rain, we've played in it a million times." She reassured him as Fred stacked her plate with food while George poured her a drink.
"But we lost!"
"Yeah but we are all much better now plus we have Harry now." Fred chimed in. The team took turns in reassuring Oliver that it would be fine. It wasn't until Cassie sent him a look that chilled him to the bone that he finally sat down, bouncing his leg up and down as he muttered to himself.
"Has he eaten?" She whispered to Katie, who sat opposite her, more relaxed than the others due to her not playing in the match.
"I don't think so, knowing him he won't." She huffed.
Cassie took a piece of toast from her plate, pushing into Oliver's face. "Eat. If you don't I may get distracted and drop the Quaffle."
"Or me and Fred might hit a Bludger towards one of our own." George added in with his usual grin.
At their taunting words Oliver snatched the toast from her, reaching across to grab an extra slice, earning a smirk from Cassie, Fred and George.

Low chatter filled the changing room as the team waited for Oliver to finish giving himself a pep talk in the corner of the room before delivering his speech to the team.
"Right, listen up! I know the weather is awful today but this is our last chance to win the Quidditch cup well, my last chance. So let's go out there and be the best we have ever been!"
"Have you been getting speech lessons from Dumbledore?" Cassie asked, Oliver turning to look at her with a shake of his head. He grabbed his broom and signalled for the team to follow him to the pitch.
