Loud chatter filled the Gryffindor common room as students returned from break, reuniting with their friends. Cassie, Fred, George and Lee sat in the corner deep in conversation when Cassie jumped up, running towards her dorm mates as they walked through the door.

Angelina, Alicia and Katie immediately dropped their bags, running to squash her into a hug. "Missed me?" She flashed them a smile.

"Of course." Katie replied, linking her arm with hers, following Angelina and Alicia towards the others.

"How was Christmas?" Angelina asked, taking a seat next to George, smiling at him in greeting.

"It was great, although I was stuck here with them three nightmares." She gestured to the wide eye boys next to her.

"A nightmare...Us." George scoffed.

"We had to deal with Cass and Harry, if anything everyone should feel sorry for us." Lee chimed in.

"It wasn't that bad.." After receiving three questioning glances she turned back to the girls. "Okay, maybe it wasn't great but it's not completely my fault." She shrugged.

"Don't worry, we'll save you now we are back." Katie said.

"Thank you." Lee, Fred and George replied.

"I meant save Cassie." Katie remarked with a laugh, before they could argue Oliver came running over to them.

"Did I hear that four players got a Firebolt for Christmas?"

"Yes Ollie."

He jumped in excitement. "Great!! We definitely have a better chance of winning now."

"Well, Harry's did get taken by McGonagall so she could check it for jinxes." Fred chimed in.

"But why! We need Harry on that broom!"

"Him and Hermione think my dad got it for him. The best part, he suggested it was another plan from me and dad to kill him."

"He what!" Angelina yelled, causing the remain students in the room to turn to them. "Did he really say that?"

"Yep." Fred and George answered.

"I'm surprised you didn't kill him to be fair." Katie chuckled.

"I would have but saint Lee told me not to since it was Christmas. Don't get me wrong now I wouldn't mind if he fell but I suppose we need him." She shrugged.

Katie cackled, leaning her head on her shoulder. "Oh I missed you comments, my house could have done with some Cass during Christmas."

"Maybe next time."
