Molly and Arthur stood side by side as they watched their children fighting to get into the Burrow, laughing as none of them notice Cassie walk straight past them and into the house. Noticing the lack of sarcastic comments Fred stopped fighting George and searched for the dark haired girl. A grin stretched across his face as he watched her dance around the kitchen at the sight of snacks Molly had prepared earlier in the day.

George finally stopped fighting Percy and Ron to join his brother and see what was taking up all his attention. He shook his head as he too watched Cassie dance around the kitchen. He should have known. The two tensed as Cassie suddenly stopped dancing, her smile quickly disappearing.

Tripping over each other they rushed to the kitchen, wrapping their arms around her while following her gaze. Fred kissed the top of her head as he watched the family clock move to the correct position. The two knew she was thinking about her dad, they couldn't imagine losing their parents and to finally get them back after years only for them to leave again. "We got you." George whispered, a faint smile appearing on his face when he saw her smile.

After agreeing for Fred and George to take her bags to her room Cassie was quick to kick off her shoes and curl up on the armchair as everyone went about their own tasks. Pulling her dads letter from her pocket she traced his handwriting, wiping her eyes before any tears could fall. "Cassie?" Molly questioned from the door, a tray of tea, coffee and snacks in her hands. Seeing the younger girl wipe her eyes she rushed forward, placing the tray on the table before pulling her into her arms.

For the next hour Cassie stayed wrapped in Molly's arms as she explained the events of the year and her feelings. Out of breath Cassie sighed, leaning her head against Molly. "I'm sorry, that was a lot."

Molly cupped her face, making her look up at the older woman. "Never and I mean never say sorry. I am always here for you." She placed a kiss on her head, noticing Arthur and Fred stood in the doorway. "I better get started on dinner, want to help me?"

"Of course." Cassie smiled standing to join her when he eyes caught Fred's. "Hey Freddie"

Fred rushed towards her, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there to help you. You got hurt and I couldn't do anything."

She giggled as she rested her head against his chest. "Freddie none of this is your fault. I mean I was only meant to go on a short walk, you couldn't have know." She pulled away to look up at him. "Please don't blame yourself."

Fred only sighed in response. "I'm taking that as you agreeing with me." Cassie laughed. She put her hand on his shoulder as she reached up to kiss his cheek before leaving to help Molly with dinner.
