As the end of the year approached the Gryffindor common room was filled with students studying for their exams. Amongst the students Cassie and Alicia were sat on the sofa, surrounded by their books, as they waited for Angelina and Katie to come back with much needed snacks.
Cassie had her head buried in her charms book when it was suddenly pulled from her hands. She tilted her head back, looking up to see Fred leaning over the back of her chair. "Why?" She asked, fighting back a smile from seeing the small smirk on Fred's face.
"You need a break, Pia."
"I don't" She muttered, reaching up to try and grab her book.
"You do. All of you do. Your heads have been stuck in different books for weeks now. When was the last time any of you took a break?" Fred asked as he sat next to Alicia, taking her book.
"We sleep at night, that counts as a break." Alicia muttered picking up a different book.
"Not acceptable. You girls are going to have a relaxing night." George chimed in, throwing himself on the sofa next to Alicia.
"And you are joining us for a prank." Fred added, pointing at Cassie.
"Fred, I can't. I really need to study."
"I'll get Lee involved."
"LEE!" George yelled up the stairs
"WHAT GEORGE!"
"IT'S CASSIE." Seconds later Lee came running down the stairs, struggling to carry his books.
"What?" Seeing Cassie curled up in the chair Lee dropped his books and ran to her, cupping her face in his hands. "Are you okay? What happened? What did these idiots do?" Fred and George scoffed at his words.
"I'm okay, they are just trying to get me to take a break from studying." She patted his hand to reassure him.
"Oh. You do need a break." He commented, moving to sit on the chair next to her.
"So do you, you've spent half the time studying with me!" She argued.
"Right!" Fred stood up, clapping his hands. "All four of us are pranking tonight and no one will disagree." He said before walking with George back to their dorm.
"Guess we aren't getting out of it that easy." Lee muttered as he opened his book. Angelina and Katie soon returned, giving the group time to stop and eat before jumping into quizzing each other.
"I officially can't read any more." Cass exclaimed as she threw her book down, throwing her legs over the arm of the chair.
"Agreed." The others exclaimed as they abandoned their books. Katie sat up and threw blankets to everyone before curling back up in her chair. Cassie took the blanket, curling up and throwing it over her head.
